Bet!

2.05 Lingfield tomo, £80 Examiner, 7/4 Satan Jams, if not £80 @ 13/8 fine.

I would have put him in at Evens for this and there's a fair chance he starts odds-on.

Truancy got away with pulling hard when he won his maiden and is potentially better than his mark, but he again tanked along last time and that cost him (I did the race for the paper). In a small field over an extra furlong round here, I couldn't have anything to do with him, as he's long odds-on to pull too hard.

Jalingo is OK but he had the run of the race in a tinpot 7f maiden last time.

Examiner holds Galaxy on latest running here and that effort is very deece in the context of this. He started favourite to beat a well-regarded Andrew Balding winner, who'd previously started favourite for a Newbury maiden but got stuck in the mud, that day and the pair dominated. Not many Balding 2yos start favourite first time up.

For me Examiner already sets the standard and he's the most progressive of the four. I'd go...

Evs Examiner, 3 Jalingo, 4 Truancy, 10 Galaxy

This might not be what you want to hear Chompy but I really like this too. There was plenty of  good money for the Balding horse that day and that form line could be pretty strong.

Good to hear. Although it's not in the form book, Truancy was very keen last time and, unless he's much more amenable, he'll struggle with 1m in a potentially tactical race.

The main danger is Jalingo getting a soft lead but he wouldn't have Examiner's potential. Think the Balding thing could be a bit tasty; he doesn't enter many 2yos in the Derby, unlike the Godolphins and Johnstons of this world.

Early morning Hills mobile £25ers.

Captain Chris 2.10 Kempton 2/1 is best price.
Rathvinden 3.00 Warwick 2/1 is near enough to the 9/4 to be still good with the offer.

Rubbish

Top class photo-ering & word-ering, very well done, & thank you.

Some great stuff in there, very inventive & clever.

Think we have a new way of assessing bet strengths now, "32 shopper" works for me.

Very enjoyable, thank you. The quiz? Easy, got it straight away. It's a film scene, is that the answer?

For those of you awake, there can't be much harm in throwing a couple of tenners at Boylesports (12/1) or Betfred (11/1) on Anna Williamson to win Splash.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01nh6nb

Paul Ross talking from 2:10:40 about Splash.  He says she is better than Keith Duffy and could have been an Olympian. Though that might be hyperbole, she looks sure to be shorter come Sunday.

Confirmed better than Duffy.

The problem with going to bed at night is that I miss the stuff put up by the insomniacs, drunkards, & Dads who have been awoken in the middle of the night by screaming kids.

That price has mostly gone overnight, EXCEPT Boyles, who, rather lazily, have left the 12/1 up - in fact it is still there.

The problem is, when I tried to bet it, I got this......

Not sure if you have any more appetite for NFL sub markets but there is another good one for Saints at Seattle tomorrow at 9.35pm on Sky

The weather in Seattle this week has been bad. High winds today...

"Century Link Field had to secure goal post with tractor due to wind"

I would copy the picture, but lets keep tikay calm over his morning yoghurt and bananas

http://www.yardbarker.com/all_sports/articles/century_link_field_had_to_secure_goal_post_with_tractor_due_to_wind/15511637

and high wind forecast for tomorrow too

Seattle are the number one Pass defense in the league measured by Yards Per pass attempt by the opposing oppo

Earlier in the season when Brees went into Seattle he passed for 147 yards, only, this in a season where he finished second to Manning in passing yards across the season

Quite interesting to see him quoted to pass for circa 270 yards in worse weather against the same defense coming off a bye

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/new-orleans-saints-at-seattle-seahawks/total-passing-yds-drew-brees

risk, Seattle get into a big early lead, and Brees throws a lot but in reality this should be much tighter than that, and the Saints can't take too many risks away from home against a superb secondary and expect to remain in the game. So balanced offense is key in this

Shut your eyes, maxmimum bet it and I am very confident in the unders here.

Oh my word........

We need to be serious here for a moment Gents.

I have just had £110 @ 10/11 with BMU @ UNDER 265.5.

This line, clearly, will keep moving down.

The current prices are here.....

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/new-orleans-saints-at-seattle-seahawks/total-passing-yds-drew-brees

So I could probably get a bit more on with a couple of firms.

I'm not keen on having more than £110 with BMU though, as I need to keep that account nice & clean, I use it a lot, as it is quick, easy to navigate, often best price, & they don't restrict me on anything.

So, is £110 enough (@ under 265.5), or ought we try & get a little more elsewhere? And the minimum line we should take is?

I feel a little brave this morning, don't forget, we have £80 on this horse to fund us for the day.

That isn't good. I get that every time I try and put a horse racing bet on with them and it doesn't disappear.  Hopefully it is just the market and nothing permanent.  They limited me to about £8 last night, BetFred was kinder.

Early mornings is kids, late nights is poker.  Sometime between the two I have a nap.

That Drew Brees UNDERS bet.

We already have £110 @ 10/11, Under 265.5, with BMU.

I can't get much elsewhere.

Ladbrokes will allow me £27.50 @ 10/11, Under 260.5.

Paddy Power will allow me £10 @ 5/6, Under 265.5.

BWin will allow me at least £50 @ 11/13, Under 270.5.

So I should now.............?

Does anyone know of an independent or non oddschecker listed company that uses Boyles platform please?

Bump.

After a week of them telling me I was restricted and please try a lower amount we finally agreed there was no denomination lower than 1pence and in actual fact I can't bet with them.

No idea, Adzy. Try asking (by PM) Lord Grumpy, I think he knows Boyles very well.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Saw this elsewhere, by Camel, too good to miss.

The internet needs a betting urban dictionary

"The Full Eso Kral": To back every possible outcome in an event and lose whatever happens.

Think we can use that.

We've added these now.

Those Rugby bets were sick beats, Trimble goes to put the try over amd his team mate tries to take it off him and knocks on.
It would have brought home both bets.

What a thing that was!

Luckily, we bet well within our means, so these things don't hurt too much, & we can afford to laugh at ourselves when they happen.

Proper Eso Kral job.
