The classic Wengen downhill on Saturday.

The training run today was in slow conditions & did not really give any useful info. The hill should speed up considerably.

A case of going against Svindal, the favourite. His record at Wengen is poor by his standards, with a best of only 8th in 8 attempts.

Three names standout, Guay, Innerhofer & Reichelt. A case can be made for all.

Innerhofer's record & experience at Wengen just shades it imo. Winner last year in both the combined & downhill, & solidly in the top ten since 2009. Some doubts linger, an early season niggling back injury, but a 6th in his last race suggest he's approaching 100%.

Around a tenner @ 7/1 looks ok, & will shorten further if he shows top form in tomorrow's training or Friday's Combined.

British bookmaking is in a sad state when punters are worried about backing winners in case their accounts get closed.

I was using a person on blondes account the other day and they closed it at half time when Madrid were 0-0 and we had bet ~4k combined on Benzema and Ronaldo ew. So shows results irrelevant because was normal account that had some big bets through it etc. Obv karma kicks in and they win 3-0 with them scoring all 3

Chelsea v Man U ( Sunday )

Ladbrokes

Money back on ALL markets if both teams score. Money back as a free bet

Max £25 refund per market per customer

This was an account closer last time they ran this offer, for anyone who did all or many markets

Much safer to do this in shops

How many Ladbrokes shops can Pete do in 5 days ?

http://www.ladbrokes.com/tc/moneyback/

Ladbrokes offer 99 markets for this match.

I went to my local Ladbrokes today with cakes for the staff ( and me ) and spoke to the manager about this offer. She was happy for me to do every market, just told me to write each bet on a separate slip.

So I wrote out 93 bets (there were 6 I didn't like ).There were 7 she couldn't find on the system so I got 86 bets on in one shop.

So it looks like the blisters won't be on Petes feet this week but on his hands from writing out all the slips.

The last couple of days have seen Fred take a holiday from tiddlearsing. The arse is being thoroughly detiddled ITT.

Very entertaining. Great work on the 93 bets. Properly heroic.

What about only backing a loser and having your account closed?

How on earth the manager can let you have 86 bets with that offer on I have absolutely no clue. I take it you will get refunded on all losers if the offer pings? Not just your first bet on the market? I've gotten the wrong end of the stick and you actually found 86 markets offered in the shop?!?! Imagine if you could do that in all 26 shops!

Its nearly as bad as the Laddies cashier who scanned multiple slips (3 i think) of the same bet to get around the limit for me.

So you can lay out over £2k in one shop with the prospect of getting the lot back in free bets if both teams score, which is a 10/11 shot?

Seems pretty odd.

Quiet day on TFT yesterday and no bets as far as I can see.

Feeling a bit like deja vu? Didn't we do this last week?

Out of this World.

5/4 both to score yesterday.

This Mans in the money.

$215,000,000 over 7 years! Can't be bad?

The best dressed Chairman in the Premiership left.

And this Man promptly went 6/4 to follow him out of the door.

Ironside in mourning.

Dubai could be in the market for one of these in the foreseeable future?

Four to walk round and four to write the slips out.

Another scorcher in Australia.

Interesting?

This Guy couldn't wait to get off court.

This Guy should have got out of dodge three months ago.

Lets hope he makes it back soon.

Talking of which, he went.

He's back.

He went.

He's back.

He went.

Wouldn't it be funny?

What do Linebackers do when they leave the NFL?

Work in an office of course.

I don't know his name but what sport do you think he participated in?

And what position?

I'm not sure if someone posted this the other day?

He's only 31, name him?

Later.

Bribery doesn't always work tho. I got an ew double up in Hills collecting £1012.50. Said to the staff to give me a grand and keep the £12.50 for a drink. The following day I went for a £30 bet and they snap rang for PTL.
Fuming. Wish I'd never given em the bung.
