Goes next week in splash, currently 8-1, any chance he gets close to Perri?

Fiorentina update:
Both Napoli and Fiorentina are away today and both ko at 2. Fiorentina away to Catania and Napoli away to Bologna and they are on btsport.
Transfer news I'm sure everyone's heard of Anderson going to Fiorentina, more importantly for me is the signing of Alessandro Matri on loan. He's a striker and is just what the Florence club need with Rossi and Gomez injured. Matri's not as good as Rossi or Gomez but he's better than what they have.
For those of you who fancy an early morning tickle I think Lazio are too big @ 9/4 away to Udinese today. ko's @ 11.30 on btsport.
Hales update:
He's had a mare and wont be the top run scorer. Right that free bet off.

Can he dive? I couldn't find anything.
If he can dive then he must be a threat, but can't see a sympathy vote going that far. I assume there isn't Paralympic diving for a reason. I am no expert on Paralympic sport though.
I think the Perri bet is fine for now, and we don't really need to back anything else.

Morning Mr T.
Resisting the temptation to go for big odds winners to get us out of the hole, I propose a bet with a small edge. In todays Heineken cup Llanelli Scarlets host Harlequins. Both are out of this cup but can go into the Amlin jobbie if they win. I made it a coin flip and like the fact that the Scarlets beat them away from home earlier on.
Suggest £20 Scarlets @ 7/5 with Betvictor.
As a final pick-me-up let's not forget about a certain Serb who is smiting all before him down under. He beat Fognini in straight sets last night.

Afternoon hector.
I agree, we don't need to start betting silly to get out of our January hole. We were due a losing month, variance etc, we enjoyed winning, now we have to man up & look a loss in the eye withoit chuntering.
Good to see Djokovic continues to do the business, been a good sweat, this.....

We are on the Scarlets @ 7/5, good luck all who sail in them.

Should just complete the round up by confirming what happened here:

Boxing folks, thoughts on Pascal v Bute tonight?
Yes, yes, two years late in the making and respective losses to Hopkins and Froch make it much less relevant than it probably should have been. Both over 30 now and question marks about both these days.
Pascal is getting all the hype and all the pundits' love. I find him a poor puncher at the 175lb mark despite his aggressive style and he fights a man in Bute who can be as smooth as silk. Froch is a brawler, too, so we know Bute can be susceptible to that style, but who isn't?
Canada will be watching with whatever passes for mild anticipation over there. This is at least a dozen leagues better than Chisora v Fury after all.
I think this fight is much closer than others seemingly do. Bute is dangerous. He won't give up and Pascal's not going to get things his own way, even if he comes flying out of the traps. He hasn't fought seriously for three years. 4/6 doesn't look in the least bit attractive in that light and I'm not convinced distance favours him as much as some are saying.
Bute is 6/4 to win with Paddy and Mr Coral. What do we think?
I've backed Pascal although not at the current prices. Bute was ruined by Froch in much the same way Lacy was ruined by Calzaghe. Lacy was never the same fighter and I don't think Bute will be either. The aura of invincibility he had has now gone and his chin was exposed. Physically he will have long since recovered from his beating but the mental scars will remain. Pascal won't come at him with the same intensity but I can't see Bute keeping him off for 12 rounds. The injury problems and stamina issues obviously a concern for Pascal but I think he has too much for Bute.
I do understand why Pascal is favourite, but I'm still minded to consider 6/4 a bit big.
I'll happily cede to your wisdom on these things, though, applying the Elder > Enthusiast system.
As you were.
Pascal beat Bute by unanimous decision. Bute is a shadow of his former self.

Am I missing something here? BMU have 4/5 a first time winner for the Masters. Taking the prices of any past winner less than 1000-1 and backing them plus backing the 4/5 seems to be a 93% book?
as 17 5.9
bw 67 1.5
cs 34 2.9
pm 15 6.7
ac 81 1.2
ti 200 0.5
zj 41 2.4
tw 6.5 15.4
vs 300 0.3
1st 1.8 55.6
92.4
Surely a max bet? (unless I'm missing something obv)
No love for this?
We'd have a goodly % of the field on our side!

Think we should put £200 on that bet, then put each-way bets on former winners nearer the time - hopefully with free bet offers (if tiger wins etc).

I am not sure what it is saying? there are only 9 former winners in this years field?
p.s more people giving feedback would be great. Might have laid Liverpool or been Villa +2 (possibly) with feedback!

There are only 9 former winners priced at <1000-1 (you could add 2% for the rest if you wanted - still 95% book)
oops missed fred couples at 300-1 bernhard langer 750-1
So betting all the realistic former winners and betting the 1st time winner is a guaranteed profit
