Afternoon all.

First up, good luck everyone who is on the Ladbrokes thing. Fred is not, but I hope you a) get the lot, & b) get paid.

Went to my local Ladbrokes, asked if it was ok to receive numerous £25 free bets if both teams scored in the Manure Chelski game, the manager basically laughed me out the door, telling me where the terms and conditions were (told her I'd read them) telling me it was a max refund of £25 (told her that was per market and there's over 100 markets) and after her asking how many I wanted to do (I said 8 or 10) she said no chance. If they had a bouncer in there she'd have had me physically bundled out the back door. Service with a smile. Have gone online instead, don't care if they close my acc afterwards

I hope it does not happen Jeff, but there would be some irony if Ladbrokes closed your Account, given your relationship with them over many years.

Still not paid.

Thing is with 365, they have a mission to become the worlds leading "consumer" bookmaker, all about volume, as many markets as possible in as many countries as possible with every sport.  They don't want punters, unless Ice creams.  Me and a group of friends have had so many accounts closed, I got £100ew on Karlberg and warned the guy.

It is a joke if they close as this is clearly as case of a lazy odds compiler. If you look at his round, the guy basically stopped trading market early when our man birdied 17 and 18.

We'll see.

bet365 literally shocking for restricting accounts of people who punt on obscure markets, bet mainly on icelandic football & womens football and I must've had atleast 15 accounts fully limited, wouldn't surprise me at all getting chinned on this bet

Hi junior,

Good to see you back on blonde after an absence of nearly 2 years, even gooder to welcome you to Fred.

Tell us something about yourself, are you a regular punter, do you follow a particular sport, or team, do you admire my blidey legs?

Yeh that's true. I take it the amount of money going into and out of your poker acc doesn't have any effect on the decision to close u? ie if I'm raking 10k a year on their poker site can the sports site close u still? I'm not mind, i'm not even JaffaCake on there, someone stole the name when they changed networks.

Not even sure what I'm cheering for in this footy, I've done so many weird bets. Guessing Manure to score would be handy as a fall back.

i just checked my Will Hill acc and I had an extra free bet, £25, someone to do with betting on any sport up to £25 and getting a free bet on the Masters snooker. I didn't know I'd qualified for this, worth checking Freddites, mine was just sat there ready to expire. I've just stuck it on Ronnie to win the next frame, not much left to bet on now but may as well give it a spin

We just appear to have 2 x £25 Free Bets, both of which we earned yesterday.

Thanks Keith.

I seem to recall that the optimum price for a Free Bet is around 10/1 or 11/1, so this may not be optimal, but we have used a £25 Free Bet on this. As Tighty noted in this morning's excellent Daily Report, we often end up having "panic" bets with these Freebies, so at least we have not wasted it.

Clermont secure bonus point v Racing, so

HCup quarters are:

Ulster v Saracens,

Clermont v Leicester,

Toulon v Leinster,

Munster v Toulouse

Good news for our Nalaga bet, they are at home

Not to good for Medard/Toulouse

Compensation Saracens have to go to Belfast, where Ulster are v tough to beat

The key here for us might be to get Saracens beat and hope Clermont play a semi and a final...two more games might equal a Nalaga try or two extra

too late, you've done Ball

Moreno was the more optimal bet imo (pricing and likelihood), but we can cheer on Ball now

In general, if someone spots an obvious error(Karlberg bet), do they ban ALL those who take advantage?

If say 30 of us have taken advantage, that seems a reasonable number to suddenly cull for what is, in effect, their error.

That could amount to a large amount of turnover that needs replacing because YOU(the company) weren't on top of things.

Seems a very strange way to run a business.

It is a bit like the owner of an All You Can Eat buffet not letting the massive bloke who ate all the pies and drank the ketchup come back the next day.

They only want people in there who let them make a profit. Savvy punters need not apply.

Agreed, but you're missing the point.

To try and adapt your analogy , the all you can eat shop has a sign outside saying eat for £1 instead of £10. There may well be a few fatties in that lot but just as many skinny folk, but they all took advantage of the shops mistake. Do you ban them all for your error?!!

That's a better analogy.

I suppose I'm slowly coming to the thought they're a business and can do business with whomsoever they like. If they decide they don't want people eating in there who are going to take advantage of their mistakes, it's annoying but not immoral.
Stick to carveries. Get as much veg as you like and no one minds.

I shall be very (even more) unpopular for saying as much, but I have to agree with that.

Anyone who owned or managed such a Business would say the same, of course.

They made a mistake, & everyone took advantage of it. Would they really want to do business with such people?

I hastily add that I hope everyone gets paid, & nobody loses their Account.
