There maybe people here who follow Fred blind and haven't subscribed to BE and seems pointless if everyone doesn't have access to Fred bets.

I'm sure several people (inc me) could put a lot more on here,but cant for various reasons, or suggest them on the QT and reveal them after the off, but not really in the spirit of Fred is it?

Broadly speaking, I agree with that.

I'm not sure it is in the spirit of things if regulars can't follow us in, as the bet is "secret" until kick off.

If they subscribe, yes.

I'm not bothered -  not at all - by the lurkers, I'm thinking of the loyal Fred regulars who follow stuff blind. We'll all be cheering, hooting & hollering during the game (we hope....) & they'll feel as if they were excluded, &  were not allowed in on the secret until it is too late. Do we really want that?

It's Sunday, and I want to keep things cool, so don't want to argue, but I'm really not sure this is entirely right & proper.

Anyway, I need to go up the Allotment now, so will check in before I start work & see where we are.

For the record, I already did the 20 pointer (off-thread) last night, so it makes no difference to me.

As a general rule, I'm definitely with Adz on this. I like the openness of the way Fred works and the only requirement a tipster has is to get on first.

However, the superbowl is (I expect) the most bet on sporting event of the year and a little bit of an anomaly. With BE being a couple of Fredites' work, I don't think there's any harm in making an exception of this one bet.

That said, the stock position should IMO be only bets Fredites get on should be Fred bets

Before you accuse me of wanting free info, I really don't give a **** about the bet. I am more than happy with Tal's topless man bet. I wont even watch the game.

I thought the purpose of Fred was for people to talk about the selection, and discuss their thought process, and allow time for discussion.

Equally. No one says that by not posting it on here you cant back it, but from a fairness perspective, it doesn't seem right to effectively after time a bet for a large number of followers.

i notice "God" has drifted so to speak 11-4 available in two places (one fred can bet with) if original thinking was it was a good bet at 5-2 (i think) then surely we should be topping up with hills?
