Groan, 4-0 Liverpool, every goal scored by a player with a surname that starts with "S". But not Suarez.
Now 5 x S, but still no Suarez.

Think we need to grind out some William Hill mobile offers.
£25 on each of the following works well.
Newbury 14.25 Al Ferof 6/4
Newbury 15.00 Dodging Bullets 11/8
Warwick 14.05 Glens Melody 5/4
Warwick 14.40, perhaps a tribute to Claypole's treble, Balder Succes (11/8).
We might get stung on these, as 3 of the races are 5 runners, and the ther is 6. The offer disappears with only 4 going to post. I can't promise I am going to be around letting people know there are 5 runners tomorrow, so think we should just take a chance.
It would be wise to check that there are at least 5 runners when you put the bets on.
In other racing news, it looks like Al Ferof is going for the Gold Cup. I think we have an ante post ticket for the Ryanair. Every chance we have picked the wrong race with both that and Annie Power from where I am sitting. I personally need to hold with Dodging Bullets in the Arkle, so that one better win easily tomorrow.
Given teh Ryanair bet, it won't be such a bad result for Al Ferof to cruise for 2.5 miles and then empty and finish 2nd.
!
And Fred gets a £25 Free Bet.

Wednesday playing one recognised centre half. I'd guess Semedo, a defensive midfielder playing centre half.

14.05 Warwick down to 4 runners.
Tikay, don't do this one.

He Fred/Freddies,
Its Scottish Cup day up in Scotchland and there are quite a few shorties on the card that I think could be worth opposing.
I am tempted to put up Aberdeen on the basis that I don't think this Celtic team is as good as previous years but they just seem to keep winning and have been scoring goals despite having their worse strikeforce in my living memory and I remember going to watch Wayne Biggins and Tony Cascarino. So I'll leave that one alone.
One team I am very interested in going against is Inverness Caledonan Thistle. Its a tricky trip driving from Inverness to Stranraer and conditions have been pretty poor up here and I expect that conditions at Stair park will be even worse given ist close proximity to the see and the general lack of cover the pitch will get from the elements. Stranraer have been one of the better sides in the 2nd division this year. Although the quality isn't great they have also shown recently that playing in front of a big crowd doesn't scare them when they went to Ibrox and managed a 1 -1 draw.
I also remember them making life very difficult for Celtic not so long ago in a Scottish Cup tie at Stair Park. If the game is tight throughout I wouldn't be surprised to see them play for the draw and get a replay with the possibility of getting a televised game if it goes back to Inverness.
Either way I think the price on ICT is on the slim side and would be a layer if we can get matched for a few quid at around 1.44 if we stick up a lay of £57 it gives us a liability of just over £25.08.
The other game I like is taking Hibs to win to nil - i really couldnt have Hibs as 1/2 against many teams even with Terry Butcher having done fairly well since he took over. Raith have had an average season but there big issue has been scoring goals and they are fairly low in confidence. a quick look at recent stats shows us they haven't scored a goal in any game since December. But what worries me is they have played against teams in that period who ship goals left right and centre. The standout price on this is Spreadex at 5/4 but checking odds checker there are only 3 books offerring this market. I was disappointed to see this was not on offer with Betfair as generally its a good place to start.
2-1 Aberdeen you should of stuck with gut

Not sure what to make of Al Ferof after that. Dont think he looks a GC winner, and makes more sense for him to go for Ryanair after that in my humble.
Wouldnt mind having had a small bet on Harry Topper for the Gold Cup prior to the race at 50s though. That could look ok if its a wet GC.

Paddy and Skybet go 5 places 1/4 odds for the Betfair hurdle at 3.35 today.
I like Vendor at 14/1, but happy to hear views.

Homer alert. Cheltanian had this as his target all year. Roger keen to have a winner as it would have been his Mums 90th today. Nothing like setting your sights nice and low.
Deep Trouble and Far West for the tricast...looool
