The NBA AllStar game is tonight Tony. The only feedback my previous post got probably just confused u more as it brought in more prospective bets. I don't like the suggested Steph Curry bet, he's more than short enough imo.

Griffin at ladbrokes 12/1 is also perfect for any of those £25 free bets, Davis at 28/1 is too big, I've also had a fiver on Johnson at 80s....just reminding u should u wanna bet. Game is live on BT Sport at 1am. I managed to have the second in both the skills challenge (7/2) and three-point contest (10/1) so no doubt Griffin will come second, much like my nut flush did v a str8 flush in the GPS yesterday.

Market is here: http://www.oddschecker.com/basketball/nba/nba-all-star-weekend-specials/all-star-mvp

Just saw this tweet from one of the US sportsbooks I follow, not just me thinking this way then:
Sportsbook.com ® ‏@Sportsbook_com  30m
Lot of action on #blakegriffin to win MVP of All Star Game at 12/1 & 10/1. He is now 9/1. http://bit.ly/JpJ54V

Bad weekend for Fiorentina. They lost to Inter on Saturday night and Napoli beat Sassuolo today to open up a 6 point gap.

The loss of Rossi and extended time out for Gomez has really hit the bet hard. We've been unlucky with Rossi getting injured straight after bet was on.

They do have to play each other yet, which gives us hope.

Right then, Mr JaffaCake. Griffin, Davis and Johnson. Make me rich while I sleep, please.

Don't worry. Live poker is rigged.

Good start, Blake defo mvp of the first quarter, scored 18, all-time record is 20, loads of crowd pleasing dunks. Three more quarters like that will suffice...

That's quite a lot of points!

MVP: Kyle Irving. Sad

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/winter-olympics/23970499

Scenarios for Great Britain

- If GB win both their matches on 17 February they are through in either second, third or fourth depending on Sweden and China's results.
- If GB win one of their remaining matches they will either finish in the top four by rights or in a tie for fourth. In the latter scenario, they would then face an elimination match or matches (if there are multiple teams tied for fourth) to determine whether they advance to the semi-finals.
- If GB lose both matches they could still finish in a tie for fourth. As above, they would then face elimination matches to determine whether they advance.

I had a search but couldn't see any bets for Scottish independence? I have tonnes of family and friends that are Scottish and I have been involving myself in a lot of debates. The vast majority seem to be well affirmed Yeses atm.

Recent polls show 37% Yes, 44% No, 19% Don't know. Apparently when the 19% dunno people were told they only had the 2 options the final vote was 47% Yes, 53% No.

These polls were done before Osborne and Cameron et al proclaimed that it would be an affirmative No to a sterling union. This has angered a lot of the Scots and has resulted in a sort of 'English think they will bully us aye, we'll show them' attitude which is picking up force throughout the country.

Anyone have any opinions or any of the jock blondes got a say?

Yes is 7/2 all over the place.

http://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-politics/scottish-independence/referendum-outcome

I am on @ 6/1.  Not only because I thought it was value but because I believe it is the best course for Scotland.    I firmly believe that people like to vote for something rather than against it.  With all the bluster from Westminister and the "your too wee, too daft, too poor chat", the you can't do this you can't do that chat, the people will vote for independence.

I am also very involved politically on the ground and I have attended a number of mettings across the country and canvassed various areas and in Glasgow, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Dundee, ithe majority of people I have spoke to and with are voting yes.   In 2 housing estates in glasgow's east end we canvassed over 3,000 people who were all yes voters.

I am not sure 7/2 is still value as its pretty much a coin flip at the moment when the undecided are taken out and every time there is a debate or utterring from Westminister all it does is drive the yes side forward.  I also expect that in the coming months there will be a larger number of former Scottish Labour Stalwarts who will make the journey to YES.  We already have Alex Mosson, Sir Charles Gray, Dennis Canavan and others on board.
i live in an area where we have had an snp MP since 1987 and i honesty thought there would be a huge Yes vote in the area but on my facebook they is alot more No voters than yes voters
personally i haven't made my mind up there are plus and neg on both sides the biggest neg now is that unlike when i was younger the SNP are no longer planning on stepping out of politics once Scotland becomes independent
and i HATE alot of there policies

That's an easy one, vote Yes then vote the SNP out. A Yes vote is not a vote for the SNP.
wish my vote could vote a party

Before I start, I need to warn of a rather patchy service this week

tikay is at DTD for the big festival week doing Maitre D'omo duties from today and I am up from tomorrow, blogging across two sites and general factotum work

Bear with us......

Daily Report

Loss on Month £275.46

Outstanding Bets £3336.37

Free Bets to Use, Two, William Hill by 22nd September

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=19

No positions completed yesterday. Which is possibly just as well

I see that Eve and the Team GB women's curlers won against Russia this morning. With one group game to go, playing China, in 14 out of 16 possible scenarios we don't need to win this game to go through to the final four. Cue scenario 15 coming in

Bale did not score for Real last night

Unfortunately both Villareal and Bilbao lost over the weekend, and the continued form of Atletico Madrid makes their hopes of winning La Liga without the big two look remote, being 16 and 20 points behind AM respectively

In Italy Serie A results this weekend saw Fiorentina lose at home, and Napoli win away. Napoli are in 3rd and currently would return of us on the old Serie A e/w bet. Fiorentina are 4th, six points behind Napoli and ten ponts behind Roma in second. We need them to finish 2nd or 3rd depending on your interpretation of our bet

Would you say that Ulloa tonight is interesting at 6-1 FGS?

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/fa-cup/brighton-v-hull/first-goalscorer

I think I would

"In addition, take a look at Leonardo Ulloa for first goalscorer. He is, simply put, Brighton’s attacking threat. Despite missing two months of the season injured he is Brighton’s top goal-scorer with 7 league goals, with the next players on 5. A one in two game scorer in the Championship, he is priced as high as 6/1 with paddy Power to notch first tonight, with 1/3 the odds available each way."

B365 make him 9/2 with the e/w, which was what I had in mind before I looked......

That's quite a lot of points!

MVP: Kyle Irving. Sad
Our man Blake broke the NBA All-Star Game record for most field goals in a quarter (9), half (10) and game (19). He had lots of crowd pleasing dunks and was favourite for MVP all the way through. The West were 18 up at one point, and the MVP nearly always comes from the winning team (they were 6 point faves at the start so likely to win).

With a couple of minutes left the scores were level and the commentary team said if the East win Kyrie gets it, if the West win Blake will (Durant was also scoring lots but Blake's records and general crowd pleasing play meant he'd get it from the West)...guess we came second in a flip, an annoying habit I've picked up. Was never a 12-1 shot like...
