thread has no bets on this individual game as far as i am aware.  Suggestions were put up for Spuds and Soton but nothing placed.  As tighty says its more about the ante post stuff and the bigger picture.

Personally, I am anti-railing Spuds in everything because of Daniel Levy and they way they treated AVB.

Also Artur Boruc and Wanyama were two of the best players I have seen in Celtic jerseys in the last 20 years in their respective positions so that adds a little to my support for Soton.  Oh and I am on bothe Soton and Overs today and BTTS.   Happy for the final whistle to go now.

I make that our first ever aftertiming aftertiming aftertiming

Kmac, taking aftertiming to a new level. N1

I generally avoid the premiership but looking at Southampton at Spurs today.

11/4 to win
8/5 DNB

Southampton are becoming a very decent team and Spurs are very inconsistent.

Not a recommendation but anyone got a view?

Sorry Big Adz your still the king.

Fair do, I will take off one aftertiming for suggesting the win(which you seemingly celebrated too early, which is even more amusing), but the  aftertiming for BTTS and overs remain.

Its interesting how opinions differ on football.

I raised the question about Soton at around 3/1 because of Spurs inconsistent most recent form and their dodgy defending.

I appreciate Spurs on paper have a better squad, the history of their results and may well win this game but I think they are vulnerable right now and I think Sherwood might not have the squad with him. It feels like its not a happy camp, they've taken some beatings recently and confidence is a big factor in football.

Just my opinion.

Surprised Tighty didn't post this photo from the weekend (apologies if he did).

Anyone know where it is?

Looks like the SCG?

see yesterday's gallery for similar

My bad.

No need to apologise for posting the scg pavilion, on my short list for favourite sporting structures.

Well that should go a long way towards securing Thursday night footie for next season.

A lot been said about Sherwood but surely teams that aren't playing for their manager don't come back and get results after being down twice in a week.

I would write something erudite, but I think this says it better:

Lots of things wrong today. Probably got lucky, we don't shoot enough, I can't have only one striker at home and Naughton and Chadli can't be top half players. I nevertheless stand by my above statement.

Hi Redarmi,

Recently you posed a question about the name of a Lucky 15 with no bonus for one win I think. I tried to find the answer but couldn't. The Ladbrokes area manager was very helpful and said there definitely wasn't a name for it !! Did anyone get the answer and if not is it time to reveal it now ?

Thanks

Think so, we could definitely do with Newcastle getting something against Southampton too.

I agree, they are pretty incompetent tactically but they are showing some spirit.  I would take that over the converse any day.

It looks a big price because they are away from home.  If Soton were at home in the same game they would have been slightly odds on given soton went off just under 5/2 on bf.  Would you have been as keen to back soton at 19/20 or 10/11 if the game had been at soton today?  The two bets are identical in effect.
