Evan Silva ‏@evansilva 3m

ESPN's Mark Dominik: "I think theres a chance Manziel will fall a little more than ppl think." Suggested #Texans trading back into late 1st.

etc etc

7-1, you've no way of knowing if its value or not, Mr Tal, sorry.

Good enough for me.

Hang on...Hulk Hogan's opinion up there with Tony Dungy and Troy Aikman? Is that the NFL equivalent of Lawro's Predictions?

Typing from my phone as laptop goosed so perhaps shorter than it should be. Standout bet tomorrow for me at UFC on Fox 11 from the undercard where Thiago Alves returns from a two year lay off and has been given what looks like a mismatch for his comeback as he faces Seth Baczynski.

Alves at his peak is a top 5 welterweight whereas Baczynski is a filler and not even top 25 in the division.

He is 1/4 in the outrights but I feel the best way to get with "The Pitbull" is by backing him to win by TKO/KO, something he has achieved in 11 of his 19 career wins and that rate has only slowed down in has last 5 fights or so as he faced very top level fighters.

Baczynski should be outclassed and Alves has the striking to tee off on his opponent. There could be some ringrust but hopefully that isn't a significant factor.

I'm not the best at pricing these things up but would have thought even money would be fair but Boylesports who were first to price up opened at 13/8 followed by BV at 11/10 and BV are usually generous in these markets so the Boyles price is cracking.

One for MMA fans and hopefully someone else has an opinion.

We need at least one goal from Britt this evening to keep it interesting.

Posh a goal down, and a man down, Brisley sent off after two yellows in two minutes.

Thought that's good for the bets of the Century... then checked the table.  Nobody wants that 6th position.  C'mon Britt, some of us are win only.

Swindon winning and Posh choking is good news for the Britt bet. As soon as sixth is secured I fancy he'll be rested for the play-offs. Our best chance is that we smash woeful Carlisle on Monday and Britt binks a hat-trick. I'm win only also.

Zoe Ball cut to 8's (from 20-1) and then out to 10's with billy hills still 40-1 with BV and pp. No view either way but someone must have had a few quid on her.

I might have had a small interest bet, but I'd be very surprised if she got the job.

Fred have Josh Warrington at evens to beat Rendall Munroe. Gift. Rendall is shot to pieces, he is only boxing because he couldn't get his job back as a binman. He struggles to let his hands go and the work rate of Warrington will see him win comfortably. If its still there in the morning take it. Will prob go off 4/5 due to Rendall's rep. Should go off closer to 1/2

It's shortened to 10/11 already. Rendall is there to be opposed and I had a bit earlier at evens.

Wm Hill offer 14/1 for Ronnie to win the World Championships and make a 147.

Presumably, the maths lads can assess if that reps value.
he would be something like 4-1 to make a 147 if he wanted too but he doesnt really want too because of the lack of a prize and infact will do his upmost not to make a 147 so its more like a 20-1 shot he makes a 147 so there is no value

i know v v little about snooker, so indulge me.....why would he not want to make one?

he thinks there should be a bigger prize for getting a 147 like in the good old days but sponsors just put up a token 10k now so has turn his nose up at a cpl of chances to make a 147 in the past

Daily Report

Profit on Month £294.86

Outstanding Bets £3784.14

Free Bets ONE WILLIAM HILL USE BY TODAY, £25 BETFRED NO EXPIRY

Admin to check. Is there a William Hill free bet? London Marathon runner refund, William Hill?

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=23

a loss of £110 yesterday

recently placed losses

- Salford lost 22-42 at home to Huddersfield -£20
- No stumping in the IPL -£20

Ante post losers settled

- Walsall's draw with Carlisle meant they cannot finish top six -£20
- Sheffield Wednesday's win meant Barnsley cannot finish top S Yorks club -£30
- Other sides winning meant Portsmouth could not reach L2 top six -£20

Of course these latter bets highlight the headwind we are facing at the moment as stale ante-post football bets settle towards the end of the season, the winners not being taken until early May

It was a grim day for out ante-post football bets

- Bournemouth entered their home game with Sheffield Wednesday having won 8 in 10, and were 2-2 against 10 men with 30 minutes to play. they lost 4-2, are now 3 points behind sixth and with three games to play one of foru teams fighting for the last play off spot

- Burnley's victory over Blackpool closed the gap at the top of the Championship to 4 points. Ings did not score. We could really do with Leicester winning the championship, would be worth £250 to us...Fun times at Blackpool, who might go down and probably deserve to. Terrible team, he says clutching his 10-1 coupon

- Rhodes did not score for Blackburn

- Ulloa did not score for Brighton, but then neither did Lingard

League One was a horror show

- MK Dons lost, and can now only catch Peterborough for sixth with a miracle, nine points behind with three games to play and 10 goals inferior on goal difference. I can now bring out Damon Albarn's line "End of the century...it was nothing special". Quite

- Sam Baldock, on whom someone did not get his act in gear in time to get us on, scored twice whilst Britt and Mooney didn't. With three games to play Baldock now has 23 goals, Britt 21 and Mooney is joint fifth, four places paid, with 18.

Here's Sam, beloved of aftertimeaas the fens over

- Sheffield No hopers won last night to retain faint chances of catching Peterborough. Will have to win out and see.

- Tranmere lost yesterday and are two points above relegation with three games to play. Would be nice to get that one home

In League two Winnall scored for Scunthorpe and that £100 at 10/11 is home and hosed. Nice finish.

Winnall has 23 goals and Hogan despite being crocked since February still second with 17. The Hogan bet is e/w top 3 and the players in fourth place have 13 goals. So we have to be hopeful of clinging on to a return there too

Away from Football, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their opening IPL7 game to Rajastan. Almost defended 135 with Dale Steyn Remover at his best, lost in the last over. Disappointing, but as the tournament lasts most of the year, not time to fret

Hulkenberg qualified 8th for the Chinese GP with Hamilton on pole, and we have a shot tomorrow in likely mixed weather. Red Bull and Ferrari look to be getting closer in performance to the Mercedes

Baseball. The Royals won, the Orioles won and the Yankees lost so thats 3 out of 3 last night. Could easily be the complete reverse today

Here's  Mike Moustakas with a 2-run blast in Royals’ shutout win over Twins

and the Orioles...

In cricket, Peter Moores has to be the most underwhelming coaching appointment since Dr Jozef Venglos.

Today, a biggie

Watford v Ipswich is a "behind closed fingers" job. Watford currently outside the top 12 and we could do with 6th placed chasing Ipswich slipping up

Leicester play QPR. A win would bring forward the day we can settle a winner

Crystal Palace are at West Ham...Win there and......

The Snooker world championship begins...

Yorkshire begin against Northants

Derbyshire play Hampshire

The NBA Play offs start tonight with Oklahoma City playing Memphis and Brooklyn playing Toronto

Finally, well done to tikay's team....

You're not alone on Blackpool, Tighty!

I did a Pompey/Blackpool/West Ham trixie at xmas, which was looking like a goer for a while, but then Big Sam's mob put a run together, and Pompey have just managed to nick enough results.
