There was a good sounding one which was only available with Boylesports who we are led to understand is a no go.

A scan of the card while limp calling off my stack in Brum...No idea of prices, other than this probably won't be a big one.

Tal's Ice Cream Tip of the Day:

Newinn Echo to beat Maireads Dandy

Any advances?

Rather unlikely, but it would be deliciously ironic if Borini, who is on loan to Sunderland from Liverpool, were to damage chelski's title chances.

We live in hope.

Good shout.

Thread will be alrite.

Had a fun day in Ladbrokes today with arbboy.

We both managed to convert all the cash in our pockets to our Betfair balances on a day when the banks were closed.

Very clever that. Sad

Can you explain that Lisa?

Maybe I'm the only one too dumb to suss it, but I'm intrigued.

Is it like a sort of Ladbrokes related alchemy?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alchemy

Ladbrokes had an offer on where if you backed a winner at 4/1 or above you got a free bet.

So two bright sparks decided to back 4 or 5 horses in each race in cash in the Ladbrokes shop and lay the same horses on Betfair.

Must have backed 50 horses between us, not a single winner.

Result Ladbrokes had a lot of cash, we had absolutely none.

Our Betfair balances had increased considerably.

The banks were closed Sad

Daily Report

Profit on the Month  £286.11

Outstanding Bets £3894.14

Admin: William Hill free bet? lapsed? London marathon refund?

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=23

A loss of £9 on Saturday

Winners

+£50 Warrington beat Munroe, when Munroe's corner threw in the towel after 7 rounds, sending Munroe into retirement

+£31 Zurigha (far left) won at Kempton under an excellent ride from Ryan Moore

Losers

- £30 Newcastle. Half of you were right, half of us were wrong

- £50 Crystal Palace can no longer finish bottom of the premier league, so an ante post loser

- £10 Bilbao in the La Liga without the big two market, a loser some time ago which i have just spotted

For longer term positions

- Chelsea's loss to Sunderland was an ultimate coupon buster. They traded at 150-1 when 1-0 down in the first half. Liverpool can go 5 points clear with 3 games to go by beating Norwich tomorrow. The lay is in dire straits. The Liverpool loanee Borini, Rodgers first signing for Liverpool, put rest to Jose's 77 game unbeaten home record as Chelsea manager

Here's a second pic. he deserves it

Here's the timeline of Liverpool title odds this season. 28th Feb for our lay

- Crystal Palace lie a point off the top ten, and must be a good thing for a handicap return, after another victory, another clean sheet and more fantastic Pulis management

- The Newcastle handicap position looks dodo-like

- Paulinho scored for Spurs. 5 for the season, 3 games to play. One more required for us

- Leicester beat QPR 1-0. 7 points clear, 3 games to play and one result away from a winner for us. A record 28 league wins for Leicester this season

- Nugent scored, to go to 19 for the season in the league. now 5th, paying 4 spots, in the goalscorer bet for us....

- Watford beat Ipswich 3-1 to go two points clear of the bottom half with a game in hand and only 6 points off the top six with four games to play. Some consistent form now would be nice

- Unfortunately for our goalscorer bets McCormack scored again for Leeds, now 28 for the season 4 clear of Rhodes

- Napoli drew 1-1 today and Fiorentina lost 1-0 to Roma. Napoli lead Fiorentina by 10 points with 4 games to go, so one result away from booking a Napoli winner and Fiorentina loser

Away from football

- Ali Carter leads Xiao Guodong 5-4 after asession. Carter was 4-1 up, was pegged to 4-4 and won the last against one of the tougher qualifiers to draw. Cocky young potter headed into the top 16

- The Kansas City Royals won tonight, their 5th win a row. The Royals bullpen tossed 4 scoreless innings today. 14 shutout innings by the pen in this five-game winning streak.

- The Orioles lost 4-2

Tomorrow (and what we want)

- Chinese Grand Prix (Mercedes, Hamilton, Hulkenberg, Button, Magnusson, Bottas..)

- Liverpool (don't win it), Arsenal (top 3), Everton and Hull City (handicap, probably not going to be top promoted team) all in action. Suarez goals, Santi cazorla assists

- NBA Play offs (Brooklyn, Oklahoma Cty, Heat, Spurs, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker)

- Snooker maximums, whitewashes, Robertson, Higgins and Carter....

there, i can have a lie in now!
