WH mobile offer FRIDAY

Sandown

1.40 Sacred Act 7/4

2.10 Sky Hunter 13/8

3.15 Western Hymn 8/13

Thanks Lisa.

Not sure what time Tighty will rise, so I've placed all these.

Missed a bit of price (Sacred Act now 13/8, Western Hymn now 4/7), but got on all three anyway. We are on Sky Hunter @ 13/8.

These are all via Wm Hill Mobile, £25 each, £25 Free Bet if 2nd.

3 BETS PLACED

Hi, I can't find this offer on Hills? It only mentions about Saturday

Well it is usually "all televised races", but you may be right, as it does not appear to be advertised on the Mobile Site. Anyway, too late now, if the Offer is not valid, we just have 3 regular singles.

I looked last night and it wasn't there.  I did think it unusual that Hills were top priced all the short horses, so it may well be a deliberate decision not to run the offer.  Still you get best odds all the horses, so it won't be so bad.   Good to have a few "bad" bets every so often as Dubai says.

Surprised Telescope isn't favourite.  Was touted as a wonder horse a few times over the last couple of years.  Maybe the Godolphin horse is showing some improvement.  Though I'd normally expect a Stoute older horse to improve a bit more than one that has moved from Fabre to Godolphin.  Maybe Telescope is carrying a few extra pounds, like most of us these days?

I've asked on Twitter and they've replied saying there is no offer at Chepstow.

Instead it's at Sandown!

Have not had a mini-quiz for a while so here we go

What connects Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart, Shakhtar full-back Darijo Srna & former River Plate manager Emerico Hirschl?

Question blatantly nicked from Twitter this morning.

They were all involved in some capacity in my all conquering West Bromich Albion team on football manager 2012.   I doubt this is the answer though.

Ah different Hirschl.  See this guy was a bit of a legend in the 60s.  My one was an obscure Hungarian physio.

Was wondering what he was still doing in FM 2012

You have evoked fond memories of Tony Cascarino still playing for my all conquering Nancy side on cm97-98

Loved that game!

Think Rob Taylor of Watford was very useful on that edition of CM.

Further to Tighty's Darlin' O Dublin bet recommend, I think I've found another way to get with my fellow citizen.
No snooker expert but was surprised to see Ken at evens for Highest Break in Match market when I intuitively made him the better break builder of the 2.

http://www.oddschecker.com/snooker/world-championship/alan-mcmanus-v-ken-doherty/who-will-make-highest-break

So I looked up their respective stats on cuetracker.net (great site, wish all sports had such easily accessible stats banks).
http://www.cuetracker.net/pages/players.php?ID=73&season=2013/2014
http://www.cuetracker.net/pages/players.php?ID=38&season=2013/2014

And I found Ken over his career has made a century every 24.64 frames, while Angles McTrousers has only made one every 37.22 frames.
Same story in Season 2013-14. Ken one every 25.45 and McT one every 36.82.
Ken 325 career centuries v McT's 176 (both turned pro in 1990 so directly comparable)

Tighty has already made good case for Ken arguably being match fav on form, backed up by a few regs' views. So we're no less worried about his current form than McT's.
My only concern is KenDo seems to be spending the week in the BBC studio instead of on the practise baize, but I'm still happy to recommend:

Highest break in match: Ken Doherty £40 @ evens (3sicks6 / ladbr0k€$).

Thoughts?

Ladbrokes have a good offer on for the Liverpool v Chelsea match

Money back if the match ends in a draw

These type of offers are usually only on Correct Score and FGS markets where at best the bookie is a couple of point below Betfair

This time they are also giving money back on the 1x2 market

Ladbrokes 1.615 on Liverpool 1.7 on Betfair

Also the 'IF' element is often a FGS which is about 8.0 whereas on this occasion the Draw is 4.25

Ladbrokes 1.67 Liverpool now

what is the recommedation here please?

back Liverpool?

they've moved from 2.3 to 1.65 or so on "chelsea may play a second team"

or does that not matter because the offer is attractive?

Back Liverpool or Chelsea whichever you fancy. I suggested Liverpool because the price is closest to Betfair.

Bet £25 please.

Singles - Win-Draw-Win
1 line @ £25.00 per line
Total Stake £25.00
Potential Return £41.67
Receipt No: O/142640973/0000591

Money back as a free bet if match is drawn

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/world-cup/england/top-goalscorer

How many goals are England likely to score at the World Cup?
2/3/4?
If they qualify from groups, couple more maybe.
But, Raheem Sterling, 40/1 to be top England goalscorer...he may only score 1, deadheat rules etc. Looks decent.

Like this Ex

Looks like a stale price from when was not certain to go let alone start

Is he a cert to start all games, probably not but not sure to many are.

Personally i think quickly he should be about a 16's-20's shot.

Look at some of the names shorter than him

Bet(s) Confirmed

You have successfully placed 1 bet(s)

Total possible returns 340.00

40-1 only available in inaccessible places, no e/w markets either.

33-1 if we think he's a true 16-20-1 shot.....

It was Oakfield Lucy that Dubai had us on before wasn't it? I think it looks good tonight. Comes from 3, vacant trap 2, T1 not always well away. Priced at 5/2 purely due to the inclusion of the bitch in 4 who clocked a decent time last week but a quick glance at record shows that it might not like the trap and we have the favourable draw. Oakfield Lucy been delivering consistently at Romford and should score here in my opinion.

Let's see if Dubai has a view.

Oh, it's Romford 9:56.
