Pray for Watford Tony.
Hope all is well Tighty, sad to hear you were unwell.
Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory - how many times have they been ahead, or drawing, & gone on to lose the game?
Amazing stuff. Fingers crossed we stumble over the line.
Yes it's been painful, just any one of all those points frittered away in their last 7 or 8 games alone would make a big difference now. Have to be honest I'm not confident now.
Just asking this for a friend but will £350 be the biggest single losing bet you will have had since the thread started?

opinions please
Arsenal 1/4
Newcastle 13/1
tonight
Is this the sort of game we should be e/w FGSing?
prices are B365, Scuy (who?) and PP also offer e/w markets
Podolski 4 in last 2 games at 9/2 1/3 unlimited places e/w
Ramsey 14 this season, scored last week just back from injury 5/1 e/w
etc etc
or is it a closer game than we'd require for these types of bets?

Liked this from Del Piero who has just left Sydney Fc
""I will remain a bit "Australian", and will continue to be close to the football movement in this country and the Australian Football Federation, also as ambassador of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, that will take place right here next year. See ya mates."

Not sure Arsenal will be scoring heavily tonight, they tend to make hard work of these "easy" games at times. Hope I'm wrong, mind.
PS - Newcastle are 13/1? Sheesh.

Ramsey 6/1EW looks very decent to me although he has been burdened with the captaincy of my FF team.

Just went to look at the spreadsheet to see if it was Tonji who tipped Riesch, I'm pretty sure it was, but noticed a bigger mistake in my post.
The Camel started the thread, I thought it was Chompy, my mistake.
Thank You The Camel
Right back to the day job of delivering Bills and Junk Mail with some UKIP promotional garbage this week too unfortunately.
Loved your other Post Kev, until you mentioned Chompy, that is.
Guess we have to thank James Film-Bore Hartigan for you being here then. Knew he'd come in useful eventually.
It really is a smashing resource, though, rarely seen a Forum thread so helpful, & you named a good few of those who have been so instructive to so many of us.
Never heard of Chemical Brothers? Good grief.

Handicap update
Current positions (Not projected forward)
Liverpool 100 (2 games left)
Everton 96 (2)
Palace 94 (2)
Southampton 88 (2)
Stoke 88 (2)
Hull 86 (3)
The Palace place bet is almost home and hosed (well at least a share of it). Only Hull can overtake them now, and they have to win all 3 games without Palace getting a point. Liverpool are almost home and hosed at the top. They play Palace next, and a Palace win takes the 100/1 punt into the last week and assures us of at least £260 back.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Great post Kev. Great read.
I am looking at the Arsenal v Newcastle match tonight. Arsenal odds are way too low so I was looking to other markets.
I started with the BTTS market where the No selection is around 1.80ish, but then I found Arsenal Win to Nill which is at 2.1 atm with Skybet. Newcastle offence is terrible only scoring 2 goals in their last 6 matches. Cisse, De Jong, Ben Arfa are out with only Remi being a threat.
Any thoughts?

The
NFL Draft
begins next Thursday
I have my draft board ready that tries to assess which players will be drafted in which positions and in which slots
I won't publicise it because i am waiting for the PP market that goes over/under each position which all being well will present some opportunities which would post if I am on. If you want it, PM me
I have though gone through
http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl-specials
a lot of the prices are fair for players by position but there is a big wrong-un
This is an extremely confident Maximum Bet
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3YKvx6LcBs
11/10 Should be threes or fours on

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/2014/DT
for those that remember him, Donald is a "Warren Sapp" type in build and style. A pass-rushing quick nimble DT (these are quite rare because how many very quick DTs are there that can sack QBs, not many, and pressure up through the middle disrupts passing attacks in a way a lot of defenses struggle to do in this era), as opposed to a mammoth run stuffing Nose tackle
Could be drafted as high as 7, highly unlikely to be drafted lower than 12
The first team that would be interested in a DT different to his style are the Steelers at 15, who would look for a run stuffer
http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/0ap2000000336545/article/2014-nfl-draft-order
I would be astonished if Donald got past both the Giants and the Bears. Teams like the Cowboys may also trade up for him
A player like Jernigan is the only similar in style player in the first round, and he's not as good as Donald. Its not a great year for run stuffers
In fact, I am off to get more on

BOOM!
A Max.......
Sadly, Fred was limited to £22 (£22.37 actually, but I rounded down), so thats the bet.

I am struggling to find a bet too. Might be a complete punt and highly unlikely, but 5-0 is 28-1, whilst 20-1 anywhere else.
Nothing at all in the market.
