Tremendous from Robertson, hopefully some great matches this week on that side of the draw.

I suspect that Newcastle may be value tonight.  Newcastle have been on a horrible run but then so have Arsenal.  It is possible that Newcastles run was caused by (and certainly coincided with) the absence of Pardew from the touchline and Remy from the lineup.  Tonight both are back.  Arsenals loss of form is less easily explained.  If one of the two teams is more likely to all of a sudden snap out of their recent runs I would guess it is Newcastle and at 14/1 or 10/3ish not to lose I would be willing to have a small bet on them.  Of course the most likely scenario is that they just continue to stink out the place and the momentum is too much to overcome.

Aaron was a name I heard a few times in the last fortnight. I know v little about such stuff but Clownly a real hit in states atm with an advert of him training being played almost hourly.

suspect he is a shoe in for first pick

Clowney is, I am almost certain, getting drafted first

About a 25% shot its to Atlanta

Evens BWIN is clearly wrong. Probably 8/11 or so with 10 days to go.

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl-specials/nfl-draft/first-pick

I agree, infact I had just looked at this myself. Surely a big bet is needed here? I dread tikay's thoughts on the word max but it is so out of line...

Will go with a MAX BET Clowney to be no.1 pick @ evens with Bwin

Betfair in a thin market is quite a bit shorter too

Real Madrid surely have to be a bet @ 19/5 with Billy?

Can't see they should be that big against anyone, unless half their first XI has food poisoning?

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/champions-league/bayern-munich-v-real-madrid/winner

I'll read the papers now to find that Bale and Ronaldo are both out...

It was at 4/1 when I checked last night.

I can't figure out it either why they are priced so high.

I have been thinking of either DNB at 11/4 or Madrid +0.5 at 5/4 as Madrid will still qualify if the match ends as a draw.

An interest statistic for todays NBA match that is on BT Sport.

Its the Mavs vs Spurs. Series is tied at 2-2. Mavs won the last match with a buzzer beater by Vince Carter 1.7 seconds before the end of the match.

Last two matches saw high scores. 205 and 217 points. The last 6 out of 7 matches the Mavs played at home went over the point spread. In the last 4 matches they have been 217.2 points scored (mean value).

The line for tonight is at 203.

Thoughts from the NBA experts?

Correction to your post.  This is game 4 and Dallas are at home and 2-1 up in the series.  Whilst not being an expert at all in nba totals it's hard to imagine the spurs being much worse than they have been offensively for the rest of this series.  The total does seem low to me

Apologies. It is 2-1 to Mavs indeed. I will correct the original post also.

Edit: Ooops. I can't correct the original post. Sorry guys.

I think Spurs will do the break tonight. Spurs though must have been having a Dejavu the last few days. Lost the championship last year with a Ray Allen 3-pointer buzzer beater and now Carter cost them a break.

I think we can have £20 on the overs but I am waiting to see what the NBA experts think.

Re: Clowney, from the outside looking in, this is Tighty's area, and the bookies have all just sheeped each other.

This feels like a proper max to me. 10-11 in a couple of spots, so should be able to get on.

I suppose this is job done

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl-specials/nfl-draft/1st-defensive-tackle-drafted

No Drunk and Disorderly arrests, no solicting professional women headlines (both of which have happened to young lads a week before the draft, and cost them millions of $$$$)

bed early for week Aaron, and we can reflect at our leisure in 10 days time

He'll have plenty of time for that once he signs the contract!

Can't see them stopping Real from scoring this year, so they'll need to score a bunch if they want to qualify, and I think that type of game plays more to Real's strengths.

Yeh I don't bet totals either but if I was setting a line I'd certainly be closer to 209, certainly wouldn't wanna take a bet on the unders.

Can't help but feel we missed a bet on the Clippers getting blown out last night. Rather than prepare for the game they've had a load of team meetings and had to fend off questions, as well as deal with how they feel and whether they're gonna strike etc after their white team owner was apparently recorded making pretty disgusting racist comments, asking his gf not to bring black people to his games (including Magic Johnson) and if she's gonna use Instagram and other social media, to not post pics of her with black people.

For a black coach and a majority black squad this must be pretty galling, even down to picking up their pay cheques. The owner has been compared to a slave master.

This hasn't gone away tho, the Clips made a silent protest last night, wearing their warm up gear inside out (to not show the Clippers name) and wearing black arm bands/wrist bands. The league is gonna make announcements this week on this guy Sterling, so the story won't go away. They play again on Tuesday in LA with the series tied at 2-2. Is there a bet in there? Oppose the Clippers?
