i was of the understanding that Foster was the clear 2nd choice keeper.  Tighty seems to think it's Forster.  I was reading the other day that Foster might even be challenging Hart for the starting spot in some people's opinion.  I am going to smash into Foster tomorrow at 1/2 given his link with Roy at WBA it must literally be backing 1/2 he doesn't get injured between now and the WC.

Didn't RoyH talk Foster out of international retirement and get him back in the fold?

1/2 looks a steal.

Not that it means much in an very illiquid market on bf but £400 has been done at 1/10 on foster making the squad.

NBA update - Brooklyn Nets win game 6 to send yet another 1st round play off series to a weekend game 7.  They are on the road for the win or go home decider to the Raptors though.

Spurs are down 6 at half time in their game 6 on the road in Dallas.  Should Dallas hold on tonight the Spurs will be at home on Sunday in yet another game 7.  Historically home teams have an 80% strike rate all time in NBA game 7's.

Miami nice and fresh for their next match, while the other teams are all putting in double long shifts!

Miami could easily go 4-0 4-0 4-0 to the nba finals.  It wouldn't be a shock given how poor the East is this year and how much rest they are going to have.

What are the NBA free throw conversion rates like?

Woulda guessed 80% before watching a game. It looks more like 60-66%.

80% for a whole team is very high.  65% is very low for a whole team.  The vast majority of TEAM averages are in the mid 70%'s.  The super elite players at the FT line shoot in excess of 90%.  The worst FT shooters in the league individually will shoot around the 50% mark.  Dwight Howard for the Rockets and D Jordan for the clippers are two off the top of my head.

Very interesting article for the england squad.  Would be amazed if this isn't massively significant.

On the back of this and other discussion recommend £100 on Foster 1/2 to make the england world cup squad with ladbrokes.

Ruddy and Defoe worth discussion in the morning as well given their relatively large prices.

Quote
- In cycling after 3 of 5 stages of the Tour of Romandie there is no sign of Rohan Dennis in the top 10. cheapwetsuit to update

I'll have to put my hand up here. I got this one horribly wrong. After an impressive 2nd place in the opening prologue (12sec ahead of his team-mate Andrew Talansky), and 16th in the lumpy Stage 1 (same time as Froome, Spilak, Nibali, Intxausti and Fuglsang (who cleaned up yesterday)), albeit 4sec behind Talansky, I thought Rohan Dennis would be primed to contest the podium with a strong performance on the Queen stage. I thought he could climb a bit. Apparently not, or maybe it was never his intention. He approached the base of the day's final climb together with Talansky (in a reduced peloton), but from there it was clear who Garmin-Sharp had chosen to represent them, and he went backwards. In the end, Dennis finished 17min behind Froome.

The last time I felt this cheated, Caruso was overlooked in place of Moreno in La Fleche Wallonne. What happened? Caruso got the nod in Liege-Bastogne-Liege, and lost it on the line (finishing 4th). I'm hoping that Dennis saves himself for tomorrow's time-trial, and shows Garmin-Sharp (and Talansky) just what he thinks of their team tactics.

PS. This is not a Fred recommend by the way, as I'm running so bad on the cycling at the moment, I need the Scoop6 to bail me out.

To me Milner looks the best value of whats left

Cant see a way he is not picked barring of course injury

2/5 should surely be 1/8 or even shorter

what protest? what price? the outright for tomorrow yes?

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/newcastle-v-cardiff-city/winner

you fancy Cardiff to get a result?

Newcastle fans will leave the stadium at 60 minutes to let them play alone. I've no idea what will happen Cheesy
