Leonard won the MVP:

http://mweb.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-basketball/24589504/video-kawhi-leonard-wins-nba-finals-mvp

Have no access to my accounts. Please would someone make my day and tell me he was an A. N. Other?

We wish.

Pretty sure we think he is included as A N Other, but nobody seems to know for sure.

When I saw the name of the MVP I thought we could be in here but 'Any other' has been settled as a loser. Why didn't I screenshot to know for sure. Sad

29 points from Kawhi Leonard, who may or may not be one of the "others" in the MVP bet

Leonard doesn't fall into the "others" for the MVP bet unfortunately Sad
Diaw, Green and Ginobili are our hopes for that one at this stage.

There's our answer. it was Diaw I was thinking of, not Kawhi.

Fair point Tal

If Messi doesn't score or even play that great and gets it we might have something to work with.

He didn't play very well imo, Argentina only had 2 shots on goal all game but he did score and he did win motm. Jury is still out but I think it could have some legs. Will keep an eye out today.

Tighty,

You wrote.....

Did Womble place the bet on Fred's behalf?

If so, I must owe him £10. Let me know please, & I'll sort it pronto.

OK, thanks.

Am just off to bed here, but I'll write to him in the morning, or, if he sends me his Bank Details in the interim, I will pay him.

Morning Mr T2.

The Queens tennis final was a great match. Lopez and Dimitrov will be a handful at Wimbledon, but if I was Lopez I would withdraw from Eastbourne this week to concentrate on it. Backing Dimitrov at big odds for it would not be the worst bet ever, and with a decent draw it could be a fantastic bet. I am not convinced he has the shot variety to beat Djokovic but I would not be overly concerned about any other opponent.

This week's tournament at Eastbourne is a pretty ropey affair. Lopez is favourite, and the best grass court player there, but doing it 2 weeks in a row is not easy. The top half of the draw is really week. Gasquet is favourite, but has just come back from a long injury so I like Garcia-Lopez.

In the bottom half the alternative to Lopez is Sam Querrey. I saw his game at Queens when he was blown away by Wawrinka. It was Wawrinka's best game of the week but there were enough signs from Querrey to show he is in decent form, and has a grass court game.

I am going to suggest backing them both as I hated watching Dimitrov win having backed him and Cilic at the start, and only putting Cilic up.It really is little fun on your own.

Suggest Querrey £10 @ 16-1 Betvictor

Garcia-Lopez £10 @ 11-1 with Coral

Reza Ghoochannejhad has a good goalscoring record for Iran and his past few clubs before his move to Charlton this year where he's only scored 1 in 14.

9 goals in 11 in world cup qualifying though and 10 from 14 caps.

Thoughts on 8/1 each way with 365 vs the likes of Shola Ameobi at lol.

8/1 on the best striker for the worst side doesn't look short to me.  He only looks solid in a bunch of average leagues to me.  Though he has been prolific in qualifying, some of those matches are going to be as easy as you get at International level?

Bet365 is going to limit us, and it doesn't look a year match for each way.  It isn't for me, but seems a good chance it will be bigger on Betfair later?

Though Ameobi may be priced lower because we all know him, isn't there a chance he is the better chance anyway.  Scoring for Newcastle is a bit tougher than scoring for Charlton or Iran in the qualifiers, and he is facing easier opposition today than your fella?
