Assuming equal skill pretty sure it should be a lot longer. Somewhere in the region of 1/2 by estimates.

All three bookings bets went down today.

All relatively low bookings, and all one either way so we were in the right area with the bets.
The Portugal/USA game was a bit harsh, (Only one booking in the match, to USA), as the guy who got booked played the ball, and then there was a hack on Dempsey late on that the ref never saw.

That game was a joke imo, 25 fouls.  I easily counted what I thought were 4 clear yellows.  Did they change the rules?

In terms of the bets, can't really complain, as the refs reluctance to book players was the main reason they were backable in the first place.

A loss of £32 yesterday

- Maldonad....o won the group of drivers in his bracket +£34

- More than 18 finishers +£34

losers

- Hulkenberg did not podiate -£5

- St Helens beat Castleford 38-16 -£20

- Losers in the yellow card bets -£60 with 2-1,2-1 and 1-0 being the counts in the three games. In the final game i thought for a long time that not even a WWE signature finishing move would get someone booked, such was the referee's leniency, but in the end one booking.

- Meanwhile Treve "has probably pulled or tweaked muscles high up" so is out of action until September. must kill the win three group 1's in 2014 bet, but will await confirmation

Today the final round of group games at the WC

We are interested in Holland v Chile, would like Chile to avoid Brazil, and the Brazil/Croatia matches also have interests for us. We also have the third of three £5 free bets to use on the Brazil game. So far no joy on Paulinho and Oscar first goal-scorers, and will pin-stick later if there are no other suggestions

We also have £200 on the italy v urug draw at 23/10, which remains the best price available. plans are?

the usa-germany draw...gets both through, two german managers, trading at 5/2

Elko Born ‏@Elko_B  8m
Dutch media are convinced Holland will line up in a 5-3-2 formation against Chile tonight. The left wing-back? Dirk Kuyt.

Could be a very interesting game!

Id dump the 200 off nearer off to break level or take a small loss, small downside high upside was argument behind bet anyway. Similar to price Germany USA draw is now was what I was anticipating if results went right

Morning Mr T2.

I backed Sri Lanka yesterday and I think they still look a decent price. I know you are loathe to suggest things when you are in charge but if you like the 11/4 that is about I am happy to risk  TK's £20 on them. If you like the price then maybe go for a bit more.

Think Berlocq is under rated against Stakhovsky today (or more likely Stakhovsky is over-rated).

Stakhovsky managed to lose to world 475 Pavic on grass last week, although he did have a couple of solid wins against Brands and Pospicil at Queens.  His clay season was a disappointment before that.

I assume Stakhovsky is a 2/7 shot because:

1) The market assumes Berlocq is poor on grass
2) Punters remember Stak beating Federer at Wimbledon
3) Head to head is 3-0 Stakovsky

I think we should take a small chance on 5/2 Berlocq given that the court differentials aren't as big as they used to be and Berlocq (ranked 40ish) is simply a better player than Stakovsky (ranked 90).  In terms of the head to heads, the large majority of the sets were pretty close, so I think we can risk discounting this small sample size.

£10 on Berlocq at 5/2 to get Wimbledon up and running for me.  Stakhovsky is the more likely winner, but he's never a 2/7 shot.

I also note that Matosevic is 2/1 underdog to Verdasco today.  On the face of it this seems likely to be of interest, but I haven't looked in much detail

the chap who was recommended yesterday put this up this morning

Ian DW @sportdw

Think Joao Sousa at 4/1 to beat Wawrinka is one of my favourite bets in the 1st round at Wimbledon...

any thoughts?

4/1 doesn't seem big enough to me.  Wawa played some very strong matches at Queens before getting thrashed by Dimitrov.  Took out Matosevic with something to spare.

Wawa also smashed Querry, and Querry is no mug on grass.
