i am just betting on nitty stuff so on the goals
but been trying to work on value betting and this just looked oop all dependant on how argentina and bosnia play
its a much easier draw for the winner of the group so dont think argentina will be taking it too easy

If that happens the bottom half is ridiculously open....

Morning Mr T2.

Some interesting tennis today. My strongest fancy is for our old friend Foggy to lose his match against Tim Puetz. I wouldn't contemplate Foggy's defeat if this was played 3 months ago on clay. However on grass his serve is not nearly good enough, and Puetz has a decent serve, and can volley.

If this comes in, and I am back home, I may suggest a bet on my 2nd choice of Sam Querrey to beat Tsonga.

Suggest £20 Puetz @ 3-1 with betfair sportsbook.

I do like that picture of the jubilant Sri Lankans. I would like to see one taken at the same time of Sonour and her husbands.

Evening Hector,

I probably didn't have as much on that as you imagine. And it wasn't a shop run just me betting on Betfair.

It's quite rare for me to have a bet where the result actually makes too much difference. Until I met Bandit I laid bets to make the same irrespective of the outcome but he couldn't understand how if our bet at the bookmakers won and he was collecting thousands of pounds our profit was only in the hundreds so now I do usually adjust the lay to favour slightly one outcome or the other.

I had bets on Sri Lanka in running at 3/1, 7/1 and 9/1and 1.24 which in hindsight probably wasn't a great bet. I tend to be a layer of England at most sports and I guess it has done me well over the years.

The kids got to stay up late because we couldn't stop viewing to put them to bed. I think we had almost given up on the bet in that last over . Yes, It would have made a good photo when they got that last wicket. I really much learn how to post photos.

Keep posting the tennis bets please.

5/4 on a ban of between four and six games. I no longer believe everything Guillem Balague says, so am more than hesitant to take his word for the four game ban he says he's been told is coming.

Love Keshi

Stephen Keshi was asked what he thought about the probability of Nigeria facing Karim Benzema. He replied quick as a flash: “And France will be facing Musa, Emenike … ”

“All the teams are good. It doesn’t matter [who you face],” Keshi noted. “You have to appreciate that. It is only Nigeria that don’t appreciate that. Nigerians always think that every team we face we have to kill them 5-0, 10-0. It doesn’t work that way.”

This is a man who gets what it is to manage Nigeria and has the right balance between realism and optimism.

Keep it going Mr Keshi.

No point going lower than that really. Sanchez has a very slim chance possibly, but very hard to see Messi losing it from here tbh for the saver at least
