Using free bets for each way horses is terrible, as they take the £12.50* off any winnings. So if the horse comes 2nd, you only get 6/4 on the £12.50 on that part of the bet rather than the 5/2 that made it value.
I am on the phone so these numbers may be wrong, but it is definitely terrible.
* guessing as it is a part payment. If they take he full £25 off it is going to be worse.

The following should be backed under the Hills offer
Maid in Rio (6/4) in the 13.55 and
Highland Reel in the 15.40 (evens)
Sure Neil will tell you that backing a short price horse over a distance they have never run before opens up some value elsewhere, do think we should also back Lieutenant Miller in the 13.55. It was baulked over that distance at Ascot and has form on firmish ground (presumably Seamus hasn't been able to make it heavy overnight). Suggest £20 each way at 10/1 with BMU or Hills.
Edit. The other race looks a good each way one too, but would rather wait until we were sure of 8 and could see what the ground was like.
Maid in Rio 11/8
Highland Reel 11/10
£25 each, WH offer money back as free bet if second, bets placed

Feast your eyes on some of these and dump your ISA's and invest risk free tax free if you can get on for 9 months max at 5% plus.

This bad boy pays over 8.5% risk free. GL getting on!
Mrs Bandit will be choking on her cornflakes when she sees some of these!
This is what happens when lolcompilers have to do the job they are paid to do! They are exposed for what they really are. Clueless

I quite like the idea of arbboy as a rival Martin Lewis. Like an after-the-watershed, not allowed on the One Show version.
"Dump those ISAs, stop giving Johnny Banker your money to lose and lump it on Diego Costa to get six goals this season with his head with Sadjokes! Hurry! It's six spots over betfair and you're buying money! What are you waiting for? Stop making the dinner and get your flaming laptop out! BUY BUY BUY!!!"
Love it!

Do not worry, the story is not true.
Ross will be playing but is having a well-earned rest over the Summer. He is being sponsored this season by a local company in Guernsey which is confirmed on the Guernsey FC Facebook page. My man on the ground just said he is just going to join pre-season late.
He will be our main man. Won the golden boot last year scoring 54 goals. When they win the league then will see if I can get him in the thread.

Was rushing round earlier, but have 10 minutes now.
Thinking about it more, I guess they are more likely to just hack £25 off the returns. It is probably easier to program than splitting the bet in two, and is in their favour, so can't see why they wouldn't.
Ignoring any rule 4, and hoping we don't go to 11 runners. If he places we get £70 normally with 5/2 on the place. If we lose £25 of that we only get £45 back, and that is the equivalent of 5/4 the place. If we go down to a fifth the place we are down to 3/4 the place (£60 less £25, so we only get £35 back for our £20 place money). Rule 4 deductions are just going to make it worse.
Let's hope it just does a win anyway, as we don't get punished nearly as much.

Thanks for the info.
On matchbets generally, looking at that list I think they have got the price wrong on the West Brom v Leicester and West Brom v Palace.
They have both Leicester and Palace at 10/11.
I think both should be shorter.
Recommend £15 on each - please get another view but I like both.

If you think Stoke are likely to have a decent season, it might be worth considering the 11/17 on Stoke v West Brom in the matchbet too.
Arbboy would have a better perspective as the resident Stoke expert.

Before Neil posts anything, the 3.40 looks excellent if we can get 8 runners. It has 3 no hopers and a short priced favourite. Any of the next 4 in the betting after the favourite is going to be a good bet.
I think it is best to wait until this afternoon before betting and by then I will have read Neil's stuff so am going to be in a slightly compromised position. I think it should be still ok to put something up as the value is blindingly obvious.

I like Dr No at 8-1, given the shape if it is e/w 1/4 1,2,3 a bit later
ran well in the Coventry, which has produced lots of subsequent winners
before that it beat Aktabantay at Nottingham by 2l. That horse then went on to run a close second at Newmarket's July meeting on that saturday with the freak weather in ground he hated
but Ahlan E or Tupi look fine too, as you say
