Another 6, so 7 of them now and we need 2 more, but only 22 runs needed.

You could do with Surrey scoring nothing, because you have £10ew on Glamorgan @ 33/1 with me!

That was extremely disappointing

Worcestershire threw in a stinker with the bat, and did for our T20 bet and the sixes bet

Very frustrating, if they perform to "par" all is fine and dandy, as they win they game too

Its absolutey tipping it down north of the border, I am only about 3 miles from Hamilton were it has come down non-stop all day.   As many of you will know inariably rain at Hamilton leads to the ground changing fairly quickly.  in the fillies race at 7:45  the course specialist Ecconomic Crisis who carries a featherweight and loves a a bit of juice in the ground, softer the better looks like it could be worth siding with.

16/1 is the best price with Spoils but generally 14/1 I think this one is worth having a few shcillings on  £10 e/w please.

I like that bet in lots of ways Kmac. Great spot. It's easy for people to take their eye of the ball on these big Saturdays.

I wouldn't necessarily play ew though. Two reasons, I don't think it's a brilliant ew race at 1/5th odds (place market is bigger on Betfair than 16/5) but also there could be two non-runners with the ground softening.

Would rather use the 2nd bet to have another soft ground one that can shorten and back them both to win.

 What about Alexandrakollantai at 9/1?

Why not, lets gamble and stop giving equity away.

Thanks Mr K of the Mac

Will leave both of those to Tighty to place, in case we double-book again.

Good luck, value pie on a Saturday, num num.

Am interested in the answer to this:

Is a 3/1 shot in a big field handicap anything like a short priced 11 runner job? I can't touch the favourite at that price. Is there bags of each way value available, here? Five places etc.

Plenty of squiggles here.

Am gambling on Hallelujah.

Is this one for the maths thread?

For example:

20 runner handicap
Favourite 5/2
Three >50/1

Is this another sort of race to be looking out for with four places (obv even better if five)?

I couldn't believe the punters were still ploughing in at 11/4. Almost as ridiculous as channel four's finest writing off Sultanina and, when it won, saying how the connections fancied it quietly and they weren't surprised it won.

Sultanina. I was quite touched by Philippa Cooper, so I looked up her stud, Normandie Stud.

Nice website, nice people, nice story. Can't link at present, I-pad, but well worth a browse if you like that sort of thing. I enjoy a bet, but delving into the background probably appeals more in some ways. Their stud is beautifully located, too.
