anyone got any opinions on Caroline Flack 11/2 1/5 each way with Sporting, i know its a point off bf's win market but it seems the winner will come form the front four in the betting, doesn't she fit the Abbey Clancy type from last year, all be it at shorter odds?

I think Frankie should be shorter in the market if anything.

Feel winner will def come out of her and Jake.

Believe that both Pixie and Caroline come across a bit meh, especially the former.

Thing with the Flack is she really is the Z of all Z listers.

Abbey was no superstar herself, but she danced great and grew on the public week by week.

Don't hate the place part massively, just wouldn't be for me, especially the win portion of the bet.

I have mentioned her before either on the strictly thread or here, and think I have her at slightly bigger. Don't think you can call her an Abbey type, she has been near the top of the betting from near the start.  She seems to poll well every week, so don't think the z list thing matters much.  Suspect Pixie and Frankie have more negatives as they are perceived to be ringers by some.

This year's Abbey is Mark, who is now scoring better and polling better than he did at the start.  Think his trajectory is a lot like Abbey's.  25/1 long gone though.

X factor is this year's strictly mind.

I think she polls well because she has a very popular partner and is a half decent dancer.

In terms of profile she is more well known as harry style's ex than a spin off presenter.

Each to their own of course, just believe public persona is quite important when betting in these things.

Agree about Mark being this years Abbey, and actually think he's very decent at the dancing, just feel he seems a bit too desperate to win.

Pixie and Frankie could def be described as ringers, just feel the latter comes across very well despite this, with the former having way too much diva attitude.

Abbey was way quieter and under the radar last year. More like Matt Dawson or Chris Hollins.

Mark makes an awful lot of noise. Rufus Hound's rant about him on the It Takes Two Friday Panel the other week was an absolute scream.

Bob eventually got quoted 100/1 November and December but max bet is £20

You can't be too careful.

Not sure what is more laughable here - the price or the limit.

They are funny.

My friend 'Bob' asked them to settle this weather market. They said they couldn't as 2014 isn't over. Bob explained that they only quoted up to October in the market. They said that was because November and December were 'unlikely'.

Bob asked for prices on November and December. They said that they needed to know how much he wanted to bet on November and December first as that could affect the price. Otherwise they couldn't give prices.

Am I awake or is this a dream?

hills lol 'novelty' compiler obviously on his last written warning for awful work and trying to stall as long as possible before the losses hit 'his' figures and the P45 arrives as he needs to be able to afford xmas first! Grin

TBF we have just had the hottest halloween on record recording a scorching 73degrees.  Maybe they think November has a squeak!  Only 20 spots to find. All the best of British.

Might try a few funny tweets to try and embarrass them into action......

ok tweeting worked...I'm paid.
I did ask for everyone....so check....otherwise I guess its on a request basis  Roll Eyes

Bob mysteriously just got paid in full and says 'thank you Nick'.

I'm wondering if it's anything to do with bet size. I believe Bob's was a max.

Guess it's not down to that then and just pot luck.

I still don't really understand why they don't settle market by market instead of bet by bet. Would save a lot of time, energy and mistakes.

Maybe

end of the day everybody has been paid nearly two months before they should according to the rules when the bet was placed so not much room to grumble.

There have been some pretty large wagers gone down on this market i fancy between a few of us and our friends like Bob hence the reluctance to pay.  It created a lot of laughs in my local boozer when i told a few of them about it back in the summer when they ask what i have been punting on.

I'm sure everyone is happy to be paid Horseplayer. Personally I would have had no problem waiting. It's inconsistencies that get my goat, same with poker rulings.

I'm grateful for that, thank you.

I'm not sure why you say that above, did I say something to irritate you? I certainly didn't mean to.
