Surely that NFL game can't possibly go ahead, how would they make it safe & accessible for spectators, even assuming they clear the pitch?

I read last night you can get $10 an hour and free tickets to the game if you can get to the Bills' stadium and shovel snow.  Sure I read somewhere this could be the biggest daily snowfall ever in some places and one of those might have been Buffalo.

Wow, really?

I'd love to see how they get that snow cleared. I'd almost like to bet against it, in fact, but I'm too nitty.

I am such a nit.

I nearly offered £1 @ Evens, but I bottled it.

Sometimes sport, games and pastimes can be really complicated. Ask the bloke in the pub on a Saturday afternoon to explain the offside rule and he'll have the salt and pepper dancing around the table before his head explodes. Chess commentary for those who just about know the moves is nigh on impossible.

Sometimes, though, it can be the easiest thing in the world to understand. You don't need to know anything about golf to know that, when Rory his an iron from the trees and it lands a club's length from the pin, the boy done good. In a 100m sprint, if the one that finishes first beats that time in the bottom right, it's a big thing.

I get the odd comment this time of year about Strictly and how people don't really see much room for improvement in the dancers, or how they can't see what the judges are on about when they're criticising footwork, posture, "spatulistic" hands, the lack of rise and fall or swing and sway.

While it's quiet on a Friday, get a cup of warm beverage and spend five minutes watching the six time and current world ballroom champions dancing an exhibition foxtrot. Gents, this is a likely "man point" goldmine if you're that way inclined. You don't need to know anything about dancing to appreciate what you're watching:

implications for us in the AFC West, where the Chiefs loss opens the door slightly for our 13/2 Chargers divisional bet. Abeit a door the Broncos are likely to slam shut

another implication is the AFC play-off picture, where our conference bet the Steelers improved slightly as a result of the Chiefs loss

the current play off picture is as follows

1. New England Patriots (8-2, .800). AFC East leader. Earns first-round bye, home-field advantage.

2. Denver Broncos (7-3, .700). AFC West leader. Earns first-round bye.

3. Cincinnati Bengals (6-3-1, .650). AFC North leader. Host Chiefs in wild-card game.

4. Indianapolis Colts (6-4, .600). AFC South leader. Host Steelers in wild-card game.

5. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4, .636). Wild card No. 1. Hold No. 5 seed on basis of superior AFC record (6-3) to Chiefs (5-3).

6. Kansas City Chiefs (7-4, .636). Wild card No. 2.

JUST MISSING

7. Miami Dolphins (6-4, .600). Hold No. 7 seed on basis of superior AFC record (5-2) to Chargers (5-3) and Ravens (3-4).

8. San Diego Chargers (6-4, .600).

9. Baltimore Ravens (6-4, .600). Seeded ahead of Cleveland on basis of head-to-head win in Week Three. The teams meet again in Baltimore on December 28.

10. Cleveland Browns. (6-4, .600).

11. Houston Texans (5-5, .500). Seeded ahead of the Bills on basis of Week Four victory over Buffalo.

Jamaal Charles last night only ran for 80 yards on 19 carries, which was way below most forecasts

NBA

the LA Clippers beat the Miami heat 110-93. Chris Paul with 26 points

Sacramento beat the Chicago Bulls 103-88. the Bulls became the last team in the NBA to lose an unbeaten away record. looks like it was a frustrating night

At the Rochester by-election the Lib Dems broke the all time record for the lowest votes by a main party in a Westminster election

The losing deposit 349 votes was lower than the 549 gained in Clacton recently. Whilst this bodes well for our LD bets, the story of the night was this lot, again

More importantly Chris Paul had 12 assists last night to slightly close the gap in 2nd place on rondo.

Morning Mr T.

The Davis cup final starts today when France host Switzerland on a clay court made at Lille's football stadium. I think we should back Tsonga to beat Wawrinka in the first match. The whole French team is fit and will have been practising on clay for a couple of weeks now, while Wawrinka has been over in London for the ATP finals- not ideal preparation. Tsonga has a 3-2 winning record against Wawrinka on clay and the hostile nature of the crowd will not help Wawrinka's fragile mental state.

Suggest £20 Tsonga @ 6/5 with Betvictor.

Hey guys, need some advice to be honest. Would love to get opinions on what I'm about to say.

As people who take gambling seriously, we always look to find value. However, over the last few F1 races I have been doing this for the betting group, with pretty poor losses. I understand that we all have up and down weeks - but I feel like I'm damaging my reputation as a result.

I have picked up a number of bets for this weekend (F1 & FE), and while you're welcome to use them all under my name, I'm going to spilt them into bets based on confidence and bets based on value.

Confidence bets:
Points Finish - Sergio Perez @ 10/11 with Paddy Power and William Hill. Suggest £10.

Value bets:
Top 6 Finish - Nico Hulkenberg @ 11/1 with Bwin.

As for the Formula E, there are a number of drivers that represent value for the win - all with Ladbrokes:  Sebastien Buemi (5/1), Nicolas Prost (14/1), Antonio Felix da Costa (33/1), Stephane Sarrazin (50/1).

i'll do f1 tomorrow

could you narrow down the Formula E bets please? what do we know about the new formula that makes those outsiders over-priced, for example?

on F1, keep the ideas coming (next season, now!). you had a good run initially, its been tough recently but that happens and its a sport we have struggled with

in part i put that down to it being a sport with firm trends for several years...red bull won four in a row, mercedes well clear this year...and when the favourites keep winning its difficult to get a value/contrarian approach to pay

that said, we are about to make some money after Abu Dhabi. we have Hamilton ante-post at 3/1, placed in february, and then Rosberg at 6/5 mid season too

FP1 finished with the Mercedes pair 1.7 seconds clear of the field,

though the Wlliams cars had problems and should be closer than that with two long straights on the track

i can only get 8/1 Hulk top 6 and 4/5 Perez points

can you let me know your lower limits please?

i will keep an eye on both markets to see if we can get 10/1+ and 10/11 as you suggested

Impressive 1st set from Wawa in the Davis Cup Final.  Feels like if Tsonga loses this then it's already a long way back for France given that Fed is next up.

Bengals@Texans.  The key for me in this game is the Bengals run defense and all the noise coming out of Cincy is about stopping the run, if successful there are plenty of 1st round picks on rotation in the secondary to snuff out Malletts pass game on his home debut.Gio Bernard's return and Hills form should make for a strong bengals run and play action game.Would like to recommend £20 bengals -5.5 at 5/2 laddies.Quite happy if the experts pick this apart as I might have my rose tinted specs on being a fan.
