lol handbags lads it obviously wasnt a serious post and the reply from TE hardly cut deep. Tals spurs bet deserves real insults tho imo

You haven't been here long enough to understand the righteous repetitiveness of it mate. The joke was aimed at Tal. I communicate with Tal on a regular basis. I knew he wouldn't take offence. "Bants innit".

"Tighty and The Mods" are pulling me up on something or other, on a regular basis these days. I tend to think they are wrong most of the time. Based on this example, I wonder why!

But, yes I take your point.

As it is there are a few people on here that do well from my input, and actually appreciate me posting, and for the time being I have no other way of passing on my thoughts. Perhaps I will remedy that over the next few months....

Lindsey Vonn on the comeback trail in Canada this week. After nearly a year's rehab, from a nasty crash resulting in a shattered knee.

Yesterday's training put her nearly 2 seconds off the pace, but she told the media she was taking it easy & will be be full gas come race day on Friday.

Says a lot about how great a skier she is when the bookies still have her as favourite. Her career record at Lake Louise is won seven straight World Cup races from 2010 to 2012. She finished first or second in 17 of 19 World Cup races there from 2006 to 2012.

http://www.theguardian.com/business/2014/dec/03/ladbrokes-chief-steps-down

Bad news potentially for winning ladbrokes punters.  Change might be coming.

Could you enlarge on this ? do you mean that they are less likely than others to restrict a winning account at the moment ?

No i mean their trading team is clueless and offer up plenty of ricks.  Change at the top would obviously threaten to potentially correct this.  Not saying it will happen but i would prefer it to continue as it is.

I would prefer things to continue as they are too. Ladbrokes are the easiest of the shops to get on, they take the biggest bets, they make no attempt to stop you multi shopping and as Arb says they make plenty of ricks.

I know that Fred doesn't like to tie money up for long periods and neither do I TBH but I do think you should have a small interest here:

http://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-politics/when-will-david-cameron-cease-to-be-prime-minister

2015 has to be favourite unless they are short for a majority but 5/2 is way too big for 2016 or over. 2014 at 10/1 can be disregarded. I think it's more like a 60/40 and some good judges who know more about politics than me agree with me.

Would be reccing £100 if we could bet on credit. In the circumstances I recc a modest £20 at 5/2.

2014 should be 100/1+ surely?  What on earth can happen in the next three weeks leading up to xmas for him to get fired?  I assume in a hung parliement where the tories had the most seats (this is currently a flip between labour and tories who wins the most seats) he would be virtually certain to remain PM under a new coalition where the tories won the most seats.  Therefore are we not getting 5/2 about a coin flip effectively in simple terms?  Looks a cracking bet if this is the case.

http://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-politics/next-uk-general-election/most-seats

Given Cameron is evens to be PM after the next election generally surely there can't be much difference in that happening in May 2015 to him holding onto the PM role for another 7 months.

Spurs seem to have decided the man to mark Eden Hazard is Vlad Chiriches. If there were a battle to watch through your fingers it's that.

3.55 to be booked on Betty Furr. Recommend £10.

We're still going to win, mind.
