Bad news potentially for winning ladbrokes punters.  Change might be coming.

Could you enlarge on this ? do you mean that they are less likely than others to restrict a winning account at the moment ?

No i mean their trading team is clueless and offer up plenty of ricks.  Change at the top would obviously threaten to potentially correct this.  Not saying it will happen but i would prefer it to continue as it is.

Naked that was pointed out in the tennis, by the guy that was a reluctant grimmer hadn't heard it in snooker

I had to read that 4 times before I could grasp what it was about.

Talwatch

Should we trust Tals football judgement?

Knows who Peter Taylor is [ ]

Credibility= Zero.

I'll assume this is a joke, otherwise there is no need for a pop

Peter taylor died in 1990, if you are 35 or under then you'd have been quite young when the clough/taylor partnership was doing great things and might not know of him

Lol, here we go again. Roll Eyes

If you assume its a joke, then why comment???!!

I doubt anyone bar you thought it was anything other than a joke, but no surprise there.

And people have to actually ask why I post less and less here.......

Just sigh.

I think the problem is unless you are older than 40 the vast majority of people would assume you were talking about the former caretaker England manager rather than Clough's side kick when mentioning Peter Taylor.

Better material needed Adz for your gags i feel!

That's exactly what I thought, which is ridiculous (as rightly noted by Mr Adz), because that bloke couldn't be the assistant of a team in the early sixties. I'd never put two and two together.

I never mind a bit of gentle joshery on these matters. We all have knowledge gaps after all. I give a little bit out and have to accept a little bit back.

I confess I did laugh when I read the post from Adz. Did you know we are 8/1 15/2 tonight, by the way?

Is it me or is Cristiano Ronaldo for the ballon d'or fantastic value at 2/9?

Ah, I see. You are the determining factor as to what people laugh at?! (Arboy doesn't count)

Yes, yes, of course, you need to have nuance and highbrow references to be funny on here.

No confusion over "humour" here. I think I make it abundantly clear when I mean to be rude too.

No ambiguity at all.

If my style and content don't suit, just say the word Tighty. I've been kicked out of far better parties than this.

I am not the determining factor but i am a determining factor on here, for as long as i am a moderator. Unfortunately i get to read every post, and take it seriously.

So if i get the wrong end of the stick, as i may have done here admittedly, its a problem as you have got form for being rude to people, myself included.

Talk of Peter Taylor reminds me of an omission from the Daily Report - I'm afraid Dover got a 94th minute equaliser to draw 2-2 with Torquay last night.

To be fair I am older than average and know of Peter Taylor, couldn't pick him out if he wasn't say next to Clough though.  Took .1 second when he was placed next to Clough.

Still not backing Spurs though.
