Any love for opposing Spurs tonight?  A draw for them is enough to seal top-spot in the group.

A win for Beiktas gets them through as group winners.  The incentive is that whoever finishes 2nd needs to play a champions league drop-out, so I can see Spurse being keen to press the game.  I think the most likely outcome is a draw, but laying Spurs appeals most to me.

TAL what you think?

It's best not to try, tikay Cheesy

Team is:

                Vorm;
Walker, Chiriches, Kaboul, Rose;
     Dembele, Stambouli;
Townsend, Paulinho, Chadli;
                Soldado.

I am not expecting shivers in the besiktas dressing room, but you're not saying anything the bookies aren't already well aware of and have factored into their prices.

It does, however, imply we have pretty much a fully fit squad.

Looking at that team, there's very few goalscorers for Tottenham. Soldado, Paulinho, Chadli and Townsend are probably it.

Green bookie is a standout 18/1 FGS for those who can on Andros (12/1 elsewhere).

You can also get 7/1 on Adebayor, who's on indefinite leave for personal reasons. Very generous, Paddy.

The novice chaser I've been most impressed with so far this season runs at Newcastle tomorrow.

Three Kingdoms jumped the big fences like he'd been doing it all his life LTO.

This is a weaker race and anything above 1/2 will be fair IMO.

Don't think Camel will mind but he popped this on the racing thread last night currently best price 4/7 in a few spots.  £70 to win £40?

12:50 Newcastle.  Would go with one of the BOG books.

Gotta say I think he would have put it here if he wanted to, most read both threads anyway. I'm sure no harm done.

Correct.

It just feels a bit improper to "nick" Keith's stuff when he currently is not posting on Fred.

For the record, as I've been asked a few times, Keith & I don't have any issues with each other (or not that I'm aware, lol...), he just does not approve of the way Fred is going as to one or two matters.

It's not a big deal, but if he ever decides to return, it'd be very well received by most, I'd have thought. Same applies to the other currently absentee Elders.

Whilst noting the absence of many Elders from posting thoughts and tips, its interesting how someone here has clearly been learning along the way.

Fair to say, Tal was the whipping boy from the outset with his many efforts to get his name in lights, ending in abject failure. But the bloke has applied all he has picked up and seems to be the go to guy for almost every sport under the sun now.

You're almost keeping the place alive single handed mate, and turning in a regular profit too. Genuinely, WP.

Having seen the Celtic team I am not optimistic.  In the Scottish Football thread I mentioned earlier today I was backing Dinamo and possibly -1 depending on the team.

I have backed both but the price on Dinamo win has gone from a best priced 23/20 into 11/10.

A bet I do like is Marcelo Brozović anytime scorer 6/1 with Coral.

Everyone can get on with Coral (nap).

Me and horsey have decided Laddies' 4-5 about the word 'hypocrite' being used on QT tonight is valoo. Either could use it about the other.

Flick in £25 ta.
