"Well, we dodged a bullet with “Hard Working Families” (Osborne went the more inclusive “Hard Working People”) but the Chancellor couldn’t resist putting in a “Two Kitchens” gag. That was a 10/1 shot when we opened up the betting, was backed into 5/1, and cost us enough to pay for a few ancillary kitchenettes...."

interesting from the ladbrokes politics trader...

Like anyone believes they ever have more than a three-figure liability on these markets. PR rofflers so tilting.

HS2 now backed into 2/1 haha. tried doubles on hills, not allowed. like the look of "hard working families" at evens at a few places, will stick to his core market with that one

Afternoon Nel, good to have a new addition to the team here. I saw you signed up yesterday, so presumably it was to join Fred - great stuff.

Good friendly bunch here, but we all know each other, & we don't know you, so it might be a bit intimidating for you at first. Hang in, you'll be fine.

Not prying, but if we know a bit about you, it makes convo easier.

Do you support a Football Team, if so, who?

Favourite sport, & why?

Out of 10, how good is Arsene Wenger? (Please mark strictly, max mark is 9.9).

What sort of bets do you do?

Day job, or type of work?

Concrete, bridges, trains or hydraulic backhoe excavators?

Younger or older than me?

It's not a 20 questions interrogation, it's basically the same opening lines I use when I hit on a woman, & I'm pretty damn hot in that department.

You missed the obligatory 'top five TfT tipsters in order?' request...

I'm running so bad he'll have Larry David top and me in a relegation scrap with Blackpool.

Time to flick in another bet on Poshies manager.

Robbo had his first reversal last night and now comes another tough game, at home to another play-off contender in Chesterfield.

If we lose that, this squad are quite capable of chucking in the towel completely. In that case, Robbo is most unlikely to get the gig. Indeed his getting the job could well rest on getting us into the play-offs.

The Steve Evans rumour refuses to go away, so chuck a score at the fat Scotchman @ 12-1 with BMU please.

Beer "weighed in"

You are actually tuned in to the Budget broadcast?

Good God man, do you not have a life?

PS - Do you have your own little Budget up there, or do we just give you some spending money every year & say "run along now"? What happened to the Management Buyout?

I have to write our company response. Just sit patiently and listen for the word pension!

I think we do. Decide on Haggis tax and how to spend all our black gold Smiley

http://uk.eonline.com/news/636923/kate-middleton-announces-her-due-date-when-is-it

Kate announced her due date yesterday.

The Duchess of Cambridge broke the news to volunteers at Brookhill Children's Centre in Woolwich, where she attended a coffee breakfast before watching a training session and visiting an on-site nursery. "I told her she is beautiful and that she's got a tiny little bump," volunteer Christie Osborne, 49, told reporters following Middleton's visit. "I asked when her baby is due and she said mid-to-end of April."

http://www.oddschecker.com/novelty/royal-baby-ii/date-of-birth

Prices have not adjusted. Shall we have some on 13th-19th and 20th-26th?

Didn't we go for hard working something last year too, probably hard working taxpayers.  I think I concluded then that buzzword bingo wasn't nearly the easy game it first appears as there were so many combinations of buzzwords he could use for what is effectively the same thing.  Sure somebody will slip it in next year when I am tending to my risk free assets earning 20% a year.

Anybody else have to look up the two kitchens reference? I am getting out of touch.

Suggest we go for the last week in April for japes.

Georgey was overdue but, from limited research, it seems it's no certainty she'll repeat the dose.

Anyone see the fat finger on bf in last at Chelmsford just after the traps opened?  Someone hoovered down to 1.01 for the best part of £50k at all prices to 1.01 from an sp of 10/11.  Good thing was easily beat.

Honestly didn't know she was pregnant again.

Breeding like rabbits. Scared the proles are going to cull a few of them probably.

Think Robertson pays out, as long as he doesn't get chucked in the next 5.
