That's the "spinning out of control" Yankees, right?

I have a suggestion. Can we keep around five large in either 'Fair or 'Daq?

Always good to have funds in there in case a back to lay springs up, like the Liverpool top four bet for example (went from 9-1 to slight odds-on, which would have put us in a good spot).

It's 100% safe in either (ring-fenced), so effectively the same as having it in the bank or a pillow case.

Jordy can be laid at 11 (might be able to get 10 matched) for the US Open so we may as well close that one out now by laying back the stake.

tikay, have this

we have £95 Spieth at 21 for the US Open

we can lay it back at 11 for a £1000 freeroll, but that would mean tying up £1000+ until June

entirely your call.

Some advice please, do I lump many clouds for the national next year now?
Doesn't it go off like 10/1?

Best to wait I'd say as it's a handicap and might get top weight now.

It was nearly top weight this time around but depending on who is entered, Is it possible that it is top weight and the only one carrying 11st+ next year?

The most Many Clouds can actually carry next year is an extra pound. It doesn't mean his rating cant go up plenty. It has. But the most he can carry, even if topweight, is 11.10.

He has proved he can with with 11.09 at the age of 8. So who knows!!

Are we confusing the handicap mark/weight carried thing?

He can indeed only carry another 1lb but if he's 7lb higher, as looks likely, he'll be conceding 7lb more to the others than he was this year.

A lot can change between now and next spring and it's very hard for anything to repeat in the National these days.

Wait for the Hennessy and go from there?

*Disclaimer. I was only explaining the facts. I was in no way suggesting others should steam in this early.

I think Pineau de Rae went off 25s this year, so its no guarantee that its will be shorter than it is now, a year later.
