Just a little angle for the Villa/West Ham game tomorrow.
Premier League has just been awarded an extra Europa place and there is potential that West Ham could get a place because they are top of the fair play league. They must be aware of this and their season is now dead, so personally think they must want as yes yellow cards and fouls committed as possible.
They are 4/5 to get most booking in the match! Surely will be trying to keep fouls down a minimum.
so suggest backing Villa most bookings @ 21/10 with Bwin

Deoends if they want the hassle of playing in the Europa league and putting huge pressure on their squad and league position just before they move into their new stadium. Maybe they will be fouling on purpose to make sure they don't get the spot. I don't know their views as a club on the Europa league but they are a very prudently run club since the porn barons took over and probably wouldn't want this additional hassle next season. Just throwing it back out there for balance.
Great angle though if they really want to get into the Europa league as the prices at bwin will probably not reflect this angle at all and will just be priced up like it is a normal game.

I remember Karen Brady saying their next step as a club was to get into Europe and of course that's not going to be the Champions League. But still a chance even if they finish top that they won't make it. I think Arsenal need to win the cup and Liverpool need to finish 5th/6th.
Other teams who are near in the fair play are Everton who probably don't want Europa League and Burnley will probably be worrying about much bigger issues. I think west Ham could be seeing some potential and could help when they try and get a new manager in the summer?

Assuming West Ham finish ahead of Everton and Burnley in the fair play table then the spot is guaranteed if Liverpool finish 6th or higher, 7th if Arsenal win the cup (Europa league spot goes to next best in the league now rather than cup runners up). Should also be taken into account that there are many other factors taken into account in the fair play table rather than just cards, management/fan decorum and style of play being just a few. I'd assume cards/player discipline would be the most heavily weighted though. I like the angle though, especially as I'm pretty sure West Ham will want to make it into the Europa league. Although this season coming up is arguably our most important as being relegated before moving to the Olympic stadium would be a disaster and being in europe would surely increase the chances of such, this is the last season at Upton Park and I'm sure the board would love to have some European nights there, not to mention it would increase our profile that little bit more before said move. Also next season is the anniversary of our Cup Winners Cup win so the PR writes itself!

bwin got 2/1 Mboro to go up. They just laid it to me and held the price. Recommend whatever you can get on up to £100 for fred if anyone is around to place for fred.
I have just opened thread to post about M'boro, Bwin price has gone, but Stan James are 2/1 whilst 11/8 everywhere else.
Not an updated book. They're not still 100-30 Brentford after tonight.
Big Sam was on SSN earlier saying he'd be keen to get West Ham into Europe by the back door.

Pretty sure it fked their season last time they were in Europe. Cannot see them wanting the hassle tbh

I would have thought that if they would hate the prospect of Europe that they would have realised by now that they have a chance of it weeks ago anyway and therefore would have tried to fall away?
I was going to look at recent booking stats for their recent games BUT at the end of the day they are not top of the Fair Play league for nothing.
Plus I think Everton will be aware of the situation too and I think they definitely would hate being in the Europa!

rugby league tonight, 8 pm k.o. Hudd giants travel to Salford. This is a grudge match after the perceived cheap shot tactics of Salford in their last meeting. Both teams will have to be up for the battle physically tonight, and I like the chances of Huddersfield. Salford are missing a few players, most notably their half back pairing of Rangi Chase (who is serving a 7 match ban for a tackle which caused all the controversy) and Michael Dobson. Half backs are a huge part of success in rugby league, so to be missing both is massive. They've got a few players back from last week where they tried to call a game off due to lack of players, but this is a step up again against a strong Huddersfield side who clawed back a big deficit last week against the rhinos last week to gain a valuable point. Might be a bridge too far for Salford, who grafted with under-strength sides to narrow defeats the last 2 weeks, will have took a lot out of a weakened squad for no reward. I'm not normally too keen on handicaps as teams can ease off when victory is assured, but there should be no easing off in this one, Huddersfield coach has come out saying they owe salford one, so it'll be full throttle for 80 mins and should be a real tear up. rec small interest on Huddersfield -8 @ evens with beteveryday

Sorry we missed this one Nelly, we were all too busy on the Election Thread.
Well done though. I watched a little bit of it, & have to say, I thought Salford were pretty dire.

no worries. yeh, the polite phrase i have for salford is "they flatter to deceive". need to get a solid foundation in place and recruit a bit more wisely. Their owner dr marwan koukash (the guy who owns all the "gabrial" horses) has certainty livened things up in super league though. his views on marquee players and doubling the salary cap etc have caused a bit of debate. giro d'italia starts today, will update on our man rigoberto uran later. no fireworks expected from him today, get round in one piece and not lose too much time to the big 2 will be fine

I tend not to recommend football bets here as I'm nowhere near as confident as when it comes to motorsport. However, Blose seem out of line on this market for Hull:

It isn't massively out of line or out of line with the 2-1, 3-1 and 4-1 correct scores? I am on my mobile so can't see bwin, and have taken 4-1 off their site.

Bruno Senna is 40/1 to win the Monaco ePrix. Considering he just topped the second practice session, it's worth a max bet each way!
http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-e/monte-carlo-eprix/winner
I was limited to £10.92 EW.

Well, price at most bookies is 3/1, price at blose is (or was?) 4/1.

That's a shame! I guess I was lucky to get on in time!
EDIT: Price is now 30/1 - it's definitely still worth it at that price.
EDIT #2: Market down again!
