£250 everton 2/5 recommended.  This is close to a max bet.  Spin have them in for 6th place finish ahead of spuds (they are in for 8 points more than the predicted 11th ranked side). Last price matched on machine was 3/10 (people are asking for 3/10 now on machine).  It could easily be argued there is more talent in their squad than Spuds and lolapool at present given the huge sums of money bid for some of their players during the summer.  Very very hard to find a case where they won't finish top 10.  No europa league distractions.  Lump on job.

On top of the above they have had a very tough first 5 games on paper (Soton/Spuds away and Man City/Chelski at home) and still got 8 points.

Looking to back it myself on credit if possible if anyone disagrees and wants to accommodate me.

^ Like that a lot.

Don't normally like ante-post for races like the Guineas, but sometimes you gotta trust your eyes, and Emotionless looks a machine. He's with the right one of the two Godolphin trainers imo and 7-1 is decent.

Unless Air Force Blue lines up against him in the Dewhurst next month, he'll probably be odds-on. If he's as impressive there he'll go very short for the 2000.

Rec £50 at 7-1.

In before Tighty, am going to have to fund some accounts before we lump those sort of sums on, so they may have to wait until I do.

Both look cracking value, no argument there.

Not sure I want to tie up £300 for so long, either, especially on the 2/5 jobbie.

I doubt the Irish race has done much to help lift the spirits of Ralph Beckett or Atzeni.

Owner had to present GH connections trophy aswell lol

Ouch!   I've hated all stewards since they threw Taufan's Melody (20/1) out at Ascot 18 years ago this month.  Not that I'm bitter or anything.  Still tilts me just typing this.   I got some (but not total) compensation when it later won the Caulfield Cup but that's another story altogether.

PS:  If my bit of this post is in grey can someone tell me how to pick up a quote and then type my bit in a different colour background please?

You've got the quote facility sorted Dekka.

What is the reason for your alias, if I may ask?

I spent years DJing, compering and doing a bit of stand up on cruises/holiday camps/clubs etc & Andy Dekka was a stagename. You prob sussed my Sky alias via my avi as we chatted earlier.

Just call me Andy - it's probably easier!

It took me an age to work that out - I thought you meant we had chatted at the tables last night. I played 49 SNG's last night & chatted to a LOT of people. Then the penny dropped. You had that problem on Thursday, & I replied to you?

A slight aside here. On odd occasions, your name sometimes featured on Ch 861, & the Producers always insisted we never read it out in full, in case it gave offence, for phonetic reasons. Very staid & conservative, them folks at Sky.

Anna got caught out with it a few times.  Admittedly it was a very childish choice by me.  Sorry.

Chelsea sent a message to their fans this morning about some deals in their club shop. Could probably have phrased it better...

9/4 bet365 here is close to being a top 7 finish if you assume lolapool and spuds won't collapse this season.

Ha, yes, she did. She's just so sweet, so genuine, but a little naive in these things. Don't worry, I've seen far worse aliases come through on studio graphics, missed by the Producer. "tikayisacun* readily springs to mind.

She always falls for this flop, too, which seems to amuse so many......

Good for others, but I don't think we have a Betway account.

leaving odds aside for a minute

SPOTY

Ennis-Hill
Froome
Hamilton
Farah

we'll leave an england rugby player and greg rutherford out of it for now

bearing in mind the petrolhead vote and Jess's popularity

give me the top 3 from the four names given.....

we have £10 at 12-1 on a safety in the chiefs texans game btw

gave up waiting for tikay to give it the say so :-)

just spotted this

"Chiefs tackle Eric Fisher expressed concern about his high ankle sprain to team,  Reid expected to line up right tackle against J.J. Watt"

on twitter

which might help.

Might help if I could remember what a "safety" was.

Seem to recall there was one at the very start of SuperBowl, when the QB made a fumbly? The rest, unlike manhole covers, was consigned to the delete file in my mind.
