This year's Premier League continues to ring the changes, & it's been great to see the "little" Clubs doing so well. We like underdogs.

Little Leicester have been top two for an age, Sir Pardew's Palace are in contention for a CL spot, promoted Watford - Watford - are in 8th, & now North London's junior team, Spurs, are top three. Strange times.

As failure inevitably follows success (except at Arsenal, who just keep doing it, year after Arsene year), soon there will be a 5pur2 thread. Wonder how many "sad's" there will be in the title?

As it'd be me talking to myself, at least one.

Crystal Palace are 3/1, Chelsea 6/5 for the first game of their new year

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/crystal-palace-v-chelsea/winner

I know Hiddink is steadying the ship, but isn't 6/5 far more priced off reputation than reflecting the current situation?

should we back Palace?

Spurs are the only Top 6 side without their own blonde thread, except, of course Palace, & they don't need one - they have Ant.

Go on, start one.

Mark Hughes next Man United manager @ 66/1 with sky bet? Worth a small punt or is this is a ridiculous bet?

Without both Bolasie and Wickham who are both injured we lack both the pace and strength of recent weeks up front.
On top of that Cabaye is suspended for this match.
If Chelsea set up like they did yesterday we will struggle to break them down.
Haven't looked at prices but would think 0-0 or under 1.5 goals would be the bet

I started a Spurs thread a couple of years ago for Tal.  Will give it a bump.

For those on the Brisbane Heat bet, they host the Hurricanes tomorrow morning at 8.10am. Hurricanes are 3/4 favourites but it should be a tight game, this is the best opportunity for The Heat to get a win all season. Likely to be a real batathon, flat pitch and 2 poor bowling attacks, 175+ needed judging on recent history. Get them beat here and we're in business.

Good stuff Nelly, this is great fun.

Not watched much so far, but thought Wright played pretty well last night, from what I saw of it.

Was funny watching Taylor get all upset when they told him Bristow called him braindead Cheesy
