£120 on Wigan to beat Posh this weekend please, 5-6 VC.

Also, another £100EW on Wigan for L1, 3-1 BFSB. Comedy price.

Settlement Day

I'm a day late due to workload, but if Fred owes anyone for bets placed in February, please let me know & I'll get it sorted.

Quick thank you to Mere for the monthly figures, & I'm glad he spotted that £20 error, it was worrying me, cant be having duff numbers.

Another good month, too, what a great thing this thread is, the recommendations are so good, we are blessed to have so many knowledgeable experts covering so many different sports. Long may it last.

One post allowed even though i promised Adz i would never post again.

I dont always agree with your "style" of posting but you certainly add  to the forum , please post more.

Several people said the same thing, many more thought it, because Argue - how DID he get that name? - is Mr Marmite. I expect just as many were sad to see him post again.

I have no idea what went off a while back between Argue & Adz, & I definitely don't want to, but sparks flew regularly, & that's fine, both are strong minded & not afraid to air their views vigorously.

We lose contributors such as Argue & Adzy - & many others - from time to time, it's inevitable. But here's the thing, it's like Hotel California, you can check-out any time you like, but you can never leave. And they don't leave, they lurk, every last one of them. Every ex Elder still lurks here, & it makes no sense.

So we all end up being denied the benefit of their wisdom, whilst they surely can't feel comfortable taking but not giving.

We need you guys, we do, you bring so much to this place.

Ignore each other if you have to, but stay around, you are very important & people here really appreciate the help they get.

Next up, Cheltenham, which always scares the life out of me. Remember our first Chelters, when we backed almost the entire field in the opener? Sheesh, I still have nightmares about that. The Boys got it right though.

For those who aren't lucky enough to go to Neil's Cheltenham preview evening, Betfair have a free one on tonight at 8pm with Paul Nicholls, Mark Winstanly etc. https://betting.betfair.com/horse-racing/cheltenham/cheltenham-2016-betfair-live-preview-evening-240216-273.html

Neil's is the best though

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Do you want us to just potter along until Vegas?

If Arsenal win the league I'll be sending you a lump back, so might as well wait until then.

Fine by me, Mark, if that suits you. I know you keep good records, that's usually my worry, that something will get forgotten.

"If" Arsenal win the league? Do behave. "When", please.

I've been waylaid for a week up at UKPC, so have barely opened blonde for a week. After the Man U defeat on Sunday, I was itching to read the Arsenal thread, but I did not dare open it. I can probably guess who said what, though. Wink

Loved that scene when LvG did his acting bit. You'd never see Arsene do that, proper Manager, see?

Arsene did produce what was for me the highlight of last season when Jose feared for his life and literally went weak at the knees.

Yeah, no problem at all.

Have just sent you an update, so you know what you're still sweating.

It's alright if they don't win the league, they've got £135m in the bank Wink
