Those "sock tags" were called garters when we had to wear them in the Boy Scouts or was it the Cubs.

Quite like a horse tonight at Kempton in the 6.40. The main reason why I think it is value is that the favourite in the race is drawn 11 of 11 and that is a severe disadvantage in Kempton sprints. The horse I like is the second fav priced 8-1 with BMU and everyday. It has a good profile for this type of race. Rec £10 on Perfect Bounty.

Only the dutch obviously but this Banga bowling attack is very good, will reduce one of the big boys to a small target in one game methinks

Bit more improvement to come when they have Mustafizur back fit also. their batting would worry me, Shakib at 4 is a bit high and keeper hasn't scored a run in months. Still a dangerous side and glad they aren't in England's group.

Aberdeen won against Partick, now a point behind Celtic who have 37 games in hand
its 30 goals and 1 game in hand they have over aberdeen we still have to play again with celtic at home
:-)
i bet you are a fan of Mrs Browns Boys, Chubby Brown and Jimmy Tarbuck
Give me Flight of the Conchords, Tim Minchin or Paul merton at his best.
watched 15 minutes of mrs browns boys, less than a minute of chubby, did like a bit of jimmy in the 80's not heard of the conchords or tim minchin but did like paul merton in the early days of HIGNFY
guessed it was a gag but just incase anyone got confused at how celtic could be ahead with 37 games in hand in a 38 game season i thought i would clarrify
that plus my brain been fried by all the prescribed drugs over the last 18 months

Enjoyed the Daily report Rich , thanks for entertaining us and I am one of your "oldies" as
Trevor Cherry was one of my heroes as were all the "nice" Leeds players of the seventies.
Norman "bite your legs" Hunter was a particular favourite.
Happy days.
It's some 40 years ago Jim, but I can still remember those names off the top of my head, Reaney, Madeley, Cherry, Charlton, Clarke, Giles, Bremner, Hunter, Lorimer, Gray & so on.
There was something rather smug about that Team, with those odious tags on their socks which they thought made them look superior.
I particularly enjoyed watching Johnny Giles, what a lovely footballer he was.
Quite sad how the Club imploded, all because they never looked after money properly. If Arsene had been in charge, of course, they'd still be great.
Peter Lorimer took one of my favourite penalties of all time :-)

Back to flickage...
I don't see any way the Cheltenham going for the first race on Tuesday is given as anything other than good to soft.
Last season we were on good. He gave it as good to soft when it was clearly on the quicker side of good, with Douvan running 3.5sec quicker than standard. He then changed it to good for the second race.
It seems he thinks he's doing his job right if he declares good to soft. And this year he's got the perfect chance to do that.
They had 24mm of rain last night which changed it from good to soft to soft. The forecast between now and Tuesday is decent and it'll dry out to...good to soft.
Obv the Fodds boys have to give what they consider sensible prices for the three possible options, but the odds are wayyyy too compressed. Good to soft should be 1-6 or shorter imo.
This is the Cheltenham banker. Have £220 at 4-11 with Hlilils please.

Why does that have tomorrow's date on it, did they forget the leap-day?

Tight race this, however made Sir Billy Wright a 3/1/100/30 shot here so at 9/2 worthy of a small bet.
SUGGEST £20 WIN at 9/2

is there any reason why East Stirling are 7/1 against Arbroath this weekend in the Scottish League 2? They're bottom of the table on 27 points but they're playing 2nd bottom of the table on 32 points, and have just got rid of their manager. Arbroath also haven't won since the end of January, whereas East Stirling have picked up a huge 2 wins since then, and are in slightly better form (or less terrible form).
7/1 with bet365 looks big. Suggest £10 on east Stirling
