Recommend each way Tamim Iqbal top tournament run scorer at T20 world cup. He just hit an unbeaten century and Bangladesh are all but through to the group stages. Main man for his team and in great form plus Bangladesh are the only team with two matches at the small batsmen friendly stadium in Bangalore.

50/1 still available in a few bookies, though it has now gone at boyles who pat out five places

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/t20-world-cup/twenty20-world-cup/top-tournament-batsman

thoughts?

good player in great form, and a thorough dismantler of oddjob bowling. in his group he'll have to do it against india, aus, nz and the three pakistanis left arm quicks

some of these guys in the batting market - Kohli and Sharma probably, possibly warner, ab, de kock, guptill depending on who you expect to make the final are going to be playing six matches

tamim is going to have to get into the top 4 for e/w in 4 matches, most likely which explains the price. might need 150 runs in those 4 matches which looks a stretch to me

Will be interesting to see how Bangladesh are priced for the individual matches, particularly the opener against Pakistan.

a catch up

England won the six nations, so -£50 Wales taken as a loser

Arsenal out of the FA Cup so -£50 at 9-1 taken as a loser

i need to give you an all time great  aftertiming i am sitting on £10 e/w Watford for the fa cup at 100-1. no coincidence that sides taking it seriously all year in terms of team selection have made the semis

back to normal service

Stoke were beaten yesterday -£25

Tomic beat Ram -£15

on the upside the cricket double came in £55 and almost pure nectar from D'Ambrosio

Norwich's point increased the pressure on Sunderland a bit

josh king scored again for bournemouth that bet is getting interesting

QPR Won, their form has probably come a bit late to threaten the play offs, they are nine points off 6th with 9 gamesto go

charlton just beat boro 2-0, lopping 3 more points off the spread bet bill

League one

Burton and walsall won, wigan needed a last minute equaliser from grigg to get a point at the weston homes.

wigan still in second, six points off burton with 10 games to go

Peterborough

sometimes cover bets are very good, Top 6 Finish 2015/16   lay Peterborough 2.28    108, Peterborough now 16th six weeks later

Chesterfield got stuffed 4-1 at home yesterday and are six points clear of the drop with 10 games to go

League 2

we have cambridge to finish top 7. another frustrating bet, but a good point yesterday at runaway leaders northampton. cambridge are 12th, 5 points behidn 7th

SPL

Aberdeen won to stay within a point of celtic

Buemi benefitted from Di grassi's disqualification in the formula e championship, hes in the lead again 22 points clear after 5 rounds

I am struggling to fathom how Hibs (3rd in Champ) can be favourite against Ross County (4th in prem) at a neutral venue

They have lost 3 on the spin in the league (QOS, Dumbarton, Morton) with basically full team out

5/2 Ross County with , Matchbook. 12/5 is still OK in my opinion if we can't get on there. I think it is worth £20 as its too big

Scraped home, hopefully some got on

Anand drew today against Caruana. Aronian was the only winner, beating Topalov (who has lost twice now).

They go into a rest day now. Back at it on Tuesday.

Anand was interviewed briefly by an Indian journo. Probably best not to ask silly questions...

I'm quite smitten with Eric the Pekingese at Cruft's.

The whippet is rather nice too but they all are in best of show.

Gah, close but no cigar with the Hammers. Didn't watch it but understand they were the better team? Should have had a penalty? Can't see united causing them many problems at Upton Park. Interesting line up for the semis, with both Arsenal and Chelsea exiting yesterday. If WHU get through, when was the last time the final 4 didn't contain at least one of; Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, United or City?

Roma won, think that's at least 6 on the bounce, but sadly Juventus don't show any sign of slowing down so the gap is still significant with games gradually running out.

Ha, loved the interview. Not a man that tolerates fools easily, it seems. Not to put too fine a point on it.

Lolbrokes live chat saying their terms state they pay on original podium placing and won't change for any post-race disqualifications.

Great shout though Peter, thanks.

They will, you have to then say that part of the bet was for the race win, and he did win the race because di Grassi was placed unfairly. Then back it up that if you knew di Grassi's car was underweight (i.e. had all the relevant information prior to placing the bet), you would have bet differently. Essentially don't leave the chat and keep escalating the issue until you get paid, always works for me.

Their rules essentially state "first past the post", but the bet market (of half the bet) was "Race Winner". In this instance, those two things are conflicting, and by law, when there is ambiguity in written guidelines, the beneficiary is the person who did not write the guidelines.

Thanks Peter, when I get time I'll have another go at it.
