It's also 12-1 that Donald Trump and Boris Johnson become the next President/Prime Minister. Incred!

Sometimes everything falls perfectly for a Posh goals bet.

Blackpool are being priced up like they still have something to play for. Mathematically they do, but they're effectively down (Fleetwood can be backed at 20-1 to go down instead).

They'd need Fleetwood to lose at home to Crewe, and to beat Posh at London Road. 20-1 is skinny.

McCann made a huge difference in his two games in charge prior to fking Westley taking over, not least when we scored five at Oldham. Saturday was more like the old days. 3-0 up, back to 3-3, then get a winner in injury time.

We have most players back now and McCann actually plays them in their natural positions. Smith is back at RB and Toffolo, who was frozen out by Westley after he'd wanted him in on loan, is at LB. Both are best going forward.

Angol and Coulthirst are i n form up front, and Maddison's season numbers have been amazing given how often he's been benched or played oop.

Biggest thing is, the players hated playing for Westley and they LOVE McCann. They'll want him to get the gig full time for sure. A big win here would help.

There will be a crowd for this too, so it won't be a flat lunchtime atmosphere. They're giving free tickets to former season ticket holders.

The crowd will be up for it, the players will be up for it, the pitch is good, Posh are overpriced (would be 4-7 if Blackpool were confirmed down already) and Blackpool have the potential to give up, either if we score a couple quickly, or news come through of Fleetwood beating Crewe.

We'll go for the jackpot here, 4+, 5+ and 6+ @ 10-1, 33-1 and 90-1 with Coral, £20, £10 and £5 respectively. Also, a throwaway fiver on Angol scoring a hat-trick at 40-1 please.

any other options?

Morning Dungbeetle.

Regarding Berdych v Ferrer. I know someone is going to win it but I can't figure out who. I don't like players who are still coming back from injury, Ferrer, and I don't like Berdych against any decent player or on clay. Then we have the fact that this venue leans towards favouring players with big serves and I can't figure it out at all.

Did you see any of Cuevas's match v Monfils. I am a big fan of Cuevas and I want to back him against Kyrgios today but didn't see him play yesterday.

Fair points Hector.  Yes I saw Cuevas and he did well.  A tough game but beating Monfils given recent efforts is really strong form.  Kyrgios also had a good win against up and down Stan though.  I expected that to be a flip so I've had a play on Cuevas.  Only concern is the long game late last night would leave him fatigued.

Early thoughts on Premier League Darts tonight

http://www.oddschecker.com/darts/premier-league/james-wade-v-peter-wright/winner

Wright has been inconsistent this season due to him messing about with his darts. In his interview last week he openly admitted it was a mistake and he wouldn't be doing it again. He beat Taylor and drew 6-6 with Anderson scoring the most 180s on the night.

He plays Wade tonight. I am firmly in the Arb camp here in that Wade can only win when someone else plays poorly. His average is consistently several points below the top boys and although his finishing is solid he cannot win when the others play well. 11/10 is a standout price for me.

Unless anyone else has strong opinions, I Recommend £50 on Wright @ 11/10 if we have accounts that will oblige.

Not one for this thread but if anyone has Sky then there is some value for the Giro D'Italia cycling stage 1 tomorrow.
It's a short prologue of 9.8kms and it looked a two horse race on paper between Fabian Cancellara and Tom Domoulin.
News has just broken that Cancellara is laid in bed with a fever. Awful preparation for this kind of test.
Dumoulin is 2/1 with Sky when he is more like an even money shot.

Coral very, very rarely reject bets, as Simon Clare sayed many times.

Love Coral and their comedy restrictions. So much comedy value calling them. Like the time taken bet Tal put up for the boat race. Got told twice by the loltelephonist that the time was 4.10. "No, the time the boat race takes!". "Ten past four..."

The only other firm offering 5+ is Scuy, so we'll have to make do with £30 @ 10-1, Hilliebillies. And a fiveball on Angol hat-trick @ 40-1 with the same mob.

Wright is 5/4 on Betfair, but I suspect that is someone spoofing as he's been matched in the 2.06 to 2.1 range.

The Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals will be aired on BBC Four after BBC Three's move online.

the first heat, which will see half of the 36 countries perform their entries all in the order decided by show producers, will be on BBC Four Tuesday May 10 at 8pm.

As always Eurovision's Big Five will have an automatic ticket to the final , and for the second year running Australia have been invited to compete but this year they will have to fight it out for a place in the second semi final.

The second semi-final with the remaining 18 countries will air on Thursday May 12 at 8pm.

the final is sat 14th

our current bets are

Eurovision 2016 - Who will finish higher? (UK or Ger) germany   6/4   14.62
eurovision song contest   russia   3.45   100
eurovision second semi   bulgaria   8/1   25
eurovision second semi   bulgaria   8/1   25

russia is 9/4 favourite to win it

http://www.oddschecker.com/tv/eurovision/winner

germany and uk 100/1 outsiders and flipping it seems

bulgaria still 8/1 fourth favourite for the second semi

there has been a big move for australia across all markets

BBC FOUR? As in, the one with all the highbrow documentaries and culture? Eurovision?

Who's presenting the coverage? Professor Marcus du Sautoy and Lord Melvyn Bragg?

Perhaps Carol Ann Duffy could do a Howard Webb style bit of analysis on the lyrics?

Do we not have to be all over Atletico in the CL final?

Only lost once vs Real in their last 10 meetings, Real looked pretty sluggish against a frankly embarrassing Man City, Atletico saw off a much better Bayern and yet Atletico are 9/4 with Coral (2/1 generally).

In the past 10 CL seasons, the eventual winner has either beaten Bayern or Barcelona, or been Bayern or Barcelona.

Eurovision on BBC Four? Good grief, whatever next - WWE Wrestling, LollySports?

All that sort of stuff belongs on ITV.

This man will be turning in his grave. And quite right too.

Would suggest betting on both Mercier and Danzer for SCOOP player of the year out of all the pros (just to be top stars pro in the leaderboard)

Most of the other are drawing dead

The rest simply will play too low or not play mixed games. Mercier will play every event, all the mixed games etc, I think he should be closer to evens.

On the face if it, Patrick, and if Jason and George really will be playing the full schedule, that's looks a corker.

Who is the bookmaker - is it BetStars?
