Cheers horsey. Hoping they have a decent ice cream van there.
Surely a 1.01 that they have one anyway.
Very jealous would love a day out at the races or anywhere tbh!

Northants v
Warwickshire
Birmingham tonight. Odds look about right, normally you'd have Northants as favourites at home but with no Ben Duckett and Birmingham naming a relatively strong squad I'd say if anything Birmingham should be very small favourites. Woakes not playing obviously, Chopra controversially left out yet again and Rankin injured, but aside from that it's close to full strength. I wish Birmingham would just pick their best team in this competition but they seem insistent upon playing 2-4 younger / reserve players in almost every game as part of their rotation policy and to make sure they can put out their best XI in every Championship game.
Anyway, they abandoned that policy in the last game as it got to the point where we needed wins and looks once again they'll pick a strong team meaning Barker will play. He's been on fire this season and tops the MVP ratings for the county championship. Having an excellent season with bat and ball, priced at 25/1 for man of the match is probably due to the fact the bookies will rarely have seen him in this format. Presuming he plays (he's in the squad but may be "rested" so wait until the teams are announced) then could be a fun bet if you're interested. Will bat at 8 (or maybe 9 if they go with the extra batsman again) so his impact with the bat could be limited but even taking that into account it's got to be +EV

I thought Warwickshire's statement about Chopra leaving at the end of the season was particularly transparent:
"Both parties believe that now is a good time for Varun to accept a fresh challenge"
Blimey! None of this "mutual consent" or "spending more time with the family" euphemising. "He doesn't like us anymore. We don't like him anymore. Tarra an a bit."
Parting is such sweet sorrow...or sometimes not. Shame to lose such a good player, nevertheless.

Completely agree, whole thing is a mess. He's the best opener we've got and the best opener we've had since Nick Knight retired. I can only presume it's a fallout from when he lost the captaincy. They seem completely reluctant to play him in any limited overs stuff. The one time they literally had no choice because of injuries he scores 98 not out in a T20 game and that remains his only appearance in white ball cricket.

There's an ok sixes one-gapper in the upcoming Jamaica v Barbados t20, but the weather forecast is a little iffy:
u13.5 @ 888 2.0
o12.5 @ Hills 5/6
Has anyone done any of these in Coral shops? I went to collect one today (where I wrote out the slip in the shop) and they called
who tried to void it! Some crap about it should only be an online price and not be bet in shops. I have to ring their CS line - any advice? Feel like I have been totally freerolled since they're happy to stick the bets on quickly enough...

Yes, I've bet these in the shops. I can't remember whether I've had a winner at Corals though. I'll need to check my records.
You will find CS very frustrating. You might get more joy on Twitter. I usually miss out IBAS and immediately issue a Money Claim Online ( Small Claims). It's very easy and you will win by default as they won't defend.
However on this occasion I would be tempted to try IBAS, surely even they would tell Coral to pay up in this case ?

Can confirm the ice cream was bloody amazing. They had one of these vans pictured in the link above (a similar pimms van next door was less busy so i frequented that someone more often throughout the afternoon) there all day with a queue 100 deep non stop for 4 hours straight. Managed to beat the queue on the way out (surprised they had any left given how hot it was) and it tasted amazing.

Haven't tried them but they'd need to be totally amazing to beat Equis of Hamilton, not far from the racecourse either.

Pretty amazing Tikay still has a functioning Betvictor account.
After Boyles and Satan James, I would have expected it to be the third to be restricted.
Famous last words, it's his best account and not even close. It's several grand up too
We need it for the NFL, too, since the 83p merchants have moved their over/under bets to 17/20 both ways.
Pinnacle coming back to the UK I heard.
Apparently, yes......
http://www.legalsportsreport.com/10382/pinnacle-uk-sports-betting-plans/
Incidentally, I was not aware until I read that piece that, effectively, they are closely linked (ownership wise) with Sporting Index.
Once they get their UK licence we will definitely open & fund a Pinnacle Account.
From what I read here & elsewhere, that will mean we can get any reasonable size bet on, no questions asked. Presumably, however, they don't make too many ricks or get out of line very often?
Anyway, it's better than nothing, & its getting harder & harder for Fred to get decent bets on stuff such as NFL.
Do they cover all typical UK markets - football, horse racing, etc?
