I really like Asad Shafiq to be top Pakistani batsman for the rest of the series. For those of you lucky enough to have a 364 account the 7/2 is more than fair. The top 3 do not convince me and I only have Misbah as the threat. Shafiq has a sound technique and is the current overall top scorer. He bats at 6 and I've been very impressed with him in the last year. I'd take anything upto 11/4.
Recommend 40 spondoolies.
no mention of Younus? just the 10k test runs at 53 batting at 4.
i will go and find this, but would be a bit worried about one of misbah and younus getting a big one in nice weather if pakistan win the toss and bat at old trafford. Nice batting track and not likely to be much help for the English seamers
granted Pakistan are a far stronger bowling side than batting side

He didn't look comfortable in either innings and the fact he's not played in England for a very long time (15 yrs?) - granted quiet a few haven't.
Maybe it's just me and I rate Shafiq highly, he's the only one who's come through the Pakistan ranks in recent years (batting!) and cemented his spot and he's got a lovely temperament.

Shafiq does look very good yes. would be lovely if he batted 3 before we get to the Oval, but probably won't.....
anyway we had £20 at 5.0 on Betfair and £20 on Betfred at 100/30 Shafiq top pakistan run scorer: series

It's the King George on Saturday and like in the Eclipse we've got a short favourite in a field that looks like it will cut up. The sixth in on the machine is currently Western Hymn at 33s. Dartmouth is slightly over the exchange with Pads and Lads.
Recommend £25 EW Dartmouth with Ladbrokes. (1/5 three places).

83p. Ouch. The first page says Lads 'all good (limited on sub markets)'. 11/2 would have been fine, matching the exchange win but thanks Marky.

The Ladbrokes situation is definitely worse and I will update the list. Not a blanket restriction but add "bad each way" or trickily shaped races to the list of markets they won't lay tft a bet on.

Pretty amazing Tikay still has a functioning Betvictor account.
After Boyles and Satan James, I would have expected it to be the third to be restricted.

Famous last words, it's his best account and not even close. It's several grand up too

We need it for the NFL, too, since the 83p merchants have moved their over/under bets to 17/20 both ways.
