Is the late NFL game tonight GB v DET more likely to end in a tie AFTER overtime than normal? Some punter wants a pony at 150/1 on it on betfair which is usually shorter than the normal price it is. Will both teams be uninterested in OT potentially if it goes to OT because neither team might have nothing to play for given they go last and know all the other teams results?

Had Iwobi FGS @15 today but lightning didn't strike twice so I'm glad I didn't put him up on here.
I hope you lot didn't do too much on the walrus's mob.

Renegades played today in the Melbourne Derby. Due to some funky batting tactics (Narine opening up made me still think I was still drunk this morning!), a well-timed rain delay to regroup and some fine overs from the spinners in the middle overs they won a tight one by 7 runs. That puts them to 2-1 in an 8 game season with the top 4 going through to the knock-out's, so it's a fair start.
They'll be looking for a replacement for Bravo at the moment, Carlos Braithwaite would be my preferred choice (the bloke who hit Stokes for 4 sixes in the last over of the WT20 final) and his name was mentioned on comms yesterday so fingers crossed.

Nothing I can think of...
Anyone?

LeSean McCoy injured. Confirmed out for the game.
Has only 10 yards. This is helpful to our David Johnson bet.

49ers worse record bet question tal. Is it dead heat if both 2-14 i assume? Can't be any tie breaker right? Nice start by CLE 2 early TD's!

Nope. 49ers will finish bottom if the Browns win and they lose. They have a worse record due to strength of schedule

Worst record would definitely imply a dead heat rule, yes.
Any tie breaker would be in our favour, though, because the 49ers would get the number one overall pick.
Cleveland 14-0 Pittsburgh.

Cavey are you sure on that? I'd be delighted to be wrong!

Browns currently throwing away the first pick and helping us out! 14-0 up at PIT.

So for betting purposes it wouldn't be settled as a dead heat? That is my point.

From everything I've read in here it would be the Niners finish with the worst record so I'm pretty sure they would settle it as outright. The niners would have the first pick in the draft therefore worst record.

I can't access the rules.
I would think it WOULD be settled as a dead heat, because worst record would imply worst win-loss record.
If the market were "next year's number one overall pick" or "worst ranked team", different story.
Anyone able to see the rules?

I just assume dead heat rules tbh. The draft has no impact on this market.

That was my thought.
From an NFL fan perspective though, being ranked 32nd is a big thing in this sport, so I can see why it would have extra relevance in this situation.
But I'm working on the assumption it's half stakes. Happy to be wrong. Happy for this conversation to be relevant!
