Apologies for a slight derail, but does anyone have experience using the Bet365 Mastercard?. It's a prepaid card (not a credit card) which you can load value onto from your B365 account only. Seems little downside to me - only charge that would likely ever affect me personally would be a nominal monthly fee after 6 months of inactivity.
I ask mainly since I'm a little puzzled why they would offer this to encourage you to remove funds from your account? Hard to see how this works for them.

What happens when they limit you to pence and you've got hundreds left on the card?

Good thought , but shouldn't be an issue. Balance can be spent anywhere mcard accepted or at worst withdrawn to bank account for a c. £10 fee if I remember rightly from a quick read of T&C's.

Celtic @ St Johnstone today.  Brendan Rogers looking to create his own personal bit of history by surpassing a record that has stood for over a 100 years.  Not so sure he will tinker too much.  St Johnstone have struggled in front of goal this season and have conceded 3 goals or more on 4 separate occasions.  I really like Celtic -2.5 on the Asian Handicap at just over 5/2.

I am probably going to take -3.5 as well.  Feel quite strongly about giving them a real doing.  Game kicks off at 12:30.

Agree with this, same team as against Bayern which is very unusual for BR

Not our best performance ut I'll take 4 - 0 all day every day.

We should do the Road to Riches bet of Antony in the 3.35 Ascot.

Choral and the Red Shouty Man both still 10/1.

£25ew?

I backed this and Junction Fourteen.

with labour withdrawing whips ministers resigning, Brexit not going well and DUP not 100% behind the tories what are peoples views on an Election in 2018 available at 3-1

https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-politics/year-of-next-general-election

Not a chance, I cannot see how anyone would think they could benefit from this.

I feel pretty strongly that this is value and will basically be the best election to lose in British history, more than good enough grounds for them to call it. Needs May out by March though.

With all these allegations flying about and everyone going PC bonkers the Tories could quite easily lose the handful of seats needed to prompt an election, that before you even start on the normal stuff.

Looks a great bet to me.

Aye because it's PC bonkers to be upset by sexual assault and  harassment!

Let's keep that debate in the thread in The Lounge please.

It's ok. It's very brave to jump on a bandwagon once others have started it and be all excessively aggressively angry. It's commonplace here.

Everyone loves to take stuff I say and twist it so badly out of proportion to make me look ultra unIV. That's fine, every forum needs its whipping boy and I have broad shoulders for those with brave keypads.

Fwiw, I have no problem with people calling out the past mistakes of others, it's the Outraged of Littlehampton brigade who have seen it happen and never said a word that annoy me with their holier than thou head shaking. That's the PC bonkers bit.

A mouth-watering card. I always wonder just how well the horses have travelled, so without direct access to info from the trainers I'd be reluctant to put money where my mouth is. But then I heard Ribchester was available at 4/1 this morning. Tempting.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Dallas Cowboys

I've been studying this game this morning.

The Chiefs started out as the Dallas Texans, such is the way with the business of American Football. They are now separated both a proclaimeresque 500 miles and in different conferences, so they don't play often.

Indeed, the last time Kansas City beat Dallas in Dallas, this was number one in the UK:

They have met 10 times some and split it 6-4, but all 4 Chiefs wins were out of Texas.

I'm hot on Dallas tonight, but that's not the bet I'm putting up today.

The Chiefs have two big pieces of their offensive line returning in Mitch Morse and Laurent Duvernay-Tardif back from injuries. They're both mainly good for the running game, but having a proper O-Line is huge for a team.

The Cowboys have one good cornerback and then have difficulty in the air. Expect Alex Smith to target players on the outside to pressure the vulnerable secondary, particularly if the ground game isn't firing (one point of note is the Cowboys don't give up big plays on the ground - just 3 of 20 yards or more all season).

Travis Kelce is effectively the number 2 wide receiver in times of strife for this team and you can get over 57.5 receiving yards with Scuy, where I would be looking at 10 more for a fair line. Dallas are generally good against tight ends in the endzone, but we don't need to worry about that.

Fred can't do that of course.

The key to Dallas's success is so often the running game. Zeke Elliott has had his suspension suspension suspension suspended, so he plays tonight. It must be having an effect on the lad, psychologically. How can it not? But the punters look at a porous KC run defense and want to buy his yards.

Scuy are 120.5. That's an enormous amount of yards. For me, he's even money to break the ton. I am expecting a high scoring game (55 is the line) and that tends to hurt the running backs.

Fred might well fancy the Rrrred Zone Sports u140.5 combined rushing and receiving yards. The Chiefs are the best in the league at defending passes to running backs (football outsiders).

Recommend £33 at 10/11 on Ezekiel Elliott under 140.5 combined R&R yards.

Let's hope for some ground control from Kansas City.

Oh

I think this is highly likely to be his last game for 6

I think they will run him til his tongue droops

a) he's excellent, and allows them to control the clock/keep their defense off the field. Against the Packers their final drive was 9 minutes! He got the ball 12 times. The final drive needed to be ten minutes, but still...when it works it does exactly asintended. Ball control
b) The OC is reluctant to open the rest of the offense out. Bryant can't take the top off a defense any more,Wlliams has T Rex arms and Brice Butler, unaaccountably,is hardly used. Its run run run and short passes, for the most part
b) KC can't stop the run,and the cowboys will try to do what pittsburgh/leveon bell (194 rushing yards against them) did,and run all over them. part of the problem is they miss eric berry a lot in run support

His last three games 690 rushing yards, 6 TDs, absolutely no sign at all the suspension malarky is impacting him on the field

I know the quote is high but tbh i had an audible intake of breath when i saw the recommendation!

That's a no then!

Cheesy

It's just so many yards in a high scoring game. Fair enough though.

Presumably you're thus bullish on Dallas to win?

Not especially, but Elliott is quite capable of having 140+ and still being on the losing side as i think KC will most likely shread the defense especially now Alex S has (probably with Mahomes sitting in the wings, he's had to) introduced some splashier plays into his repertoire
