Great series of interviews about sportingbet/poker boom/crash online. Not sure if Tikay/Tighty want to recreate another thread with it on on the rail for non TFT readers to listen to as it is quite poker related as well as sports betting.

A polite decline of my offer would of been nice. Keep forgetting I am outside the circle, no wonder people not tipping anymore.

i placed the bet before you posted but wasn't on to confirm it last night
then i briefly remembered i had to confirm it this morning, and did so
that's all, no slight intended and all this outside the circle stuff? what circle?
absolutely no need to be chippy.

A few years ago, Dubai gave us the wonderful coup of betting e/w on multiple England players to score first goal in a game vs San Marino.
This was taking advantage of the each way odds for the expected avalanche of goals.
I'm wondering if there is the possibility to take the same advantage in a different sport.
The Masters starts tomorrow and bookies are offering up to 10 places e/w. It's a unique event in that its a relatively small field, and realistically there are not that many players that can win it. Can placing each way bets on the top 10 players be profitable?
Currently on Scuy, who are paying top 10 1/5 odds their prices are as follows:
Spieth 9/1
Thomas 10/1
Mcllroy 10/1
Johnson 11/1
Rose 12/1
Watson 14/1
Woods 14/1
Day 16/1
Mickelson 16/1
Rahm 18/1
Fowler 18/1
The winner should come from this group, with the exception of Casey 20/1 and Garcia 25/1
Just throwing it out there for discussion.

Many years of loyal fishiness got my EW dabble on Tiger boosted from a top-price on oddschecker 16/1 to 19/1 with ladyboys

If you backed the top 20 in the betting ew with ten places, you would certainly profit. Not very imaginative but profitable.

you'd lose your account and it looks pretty marginal. Sky know what they are doing here. I looked at oddschecker earlier amd b365 looked more hopeful. I am in Norway and can't bet, so I have spent little time on it, so can't be certain. Didn't think this holiday completely through obv.
top 10 betting should favour those lower down, but sky go even further away from betfair. gl all.

You're giving away a chunk here on the win part of the bets.
If you back the top 20 each-way and one of them wins, chances are you'd lose on the deal anyway. Plus there's 63 other runners who could cost you the lot.
Sky's and Coral's prices are only slightly better than Betfair's EW ten spots market in most cases. Philly Mick is decent at 16-1, Tiger's ok at 14-1, Hideki's ok at 25-1, but the rest are pretty thin.
Think Doobs is right, there's more mileage in the eight places books.

Rory at bf sb/power at 12/1 is under the exchange win and place (8 places) getting 12/5 place about a 7/4 poke on the machine.
