You have £50 credit with me Tikay, how much you want on it?

Ooh, lovely, thank you.

I think a modest £10 ew please.

blimey, even thread is applying restrictions now.

Ha, not at all - you never suggested an amount.

If you think it's worth more, just say and I'm sure nuros will oblige, up to the amount of credit I have with him.

Sorry, ferrying kids around.  Was thinking 25 e/w was standard.   Have you backed Neil's too?  Will be like the old days on thread.   We only need a Tal car crash gif about 4.45 to get the full old days on thread effect.

Yes, backed them first thing this morning, & race is at, I think 5.25, so that's still to come.

Apologies Stu, I got the time wrong, it was 4.30, & not 5.25.

On the bright side (for you, not me), I've just checked the result, & all 3 selections finished out of the money.

I do think the favourite in the 17:25 (Perfect Tapatino) is a good horse and and a good thing.

Notts county are way too big IMO this weekend.

They are 7/2 away at Bury.

Bury started season well and Notts County were awful.

Kewell been there for 4-5 games and has steadied the ship. They are starting to win games.

They have a decent squad.

The price is with betallyeararound.

That went well :-(

Time to get the chequebook out Tony

315 ascot Lord Glitters William Hill 5 places a 1/5th 8/1

Top price or joint top anyway great place terms solid Ascot form, fair to say I cant see it out the 4 let alone the 5.

Not good enough on previous group form to win but has never raced on slower than good since reaching group level, used to be better on it no reason isn't now so could even improve a few pounds.

Suggest a very big each way bet for fred whatever that is deemed to be these days

Thanks John.

For now, we have had £30 EW @ 8/1, 5 places, one fifth odds. Might increase that later.

Good luck all who are on, & thank you.

Stormy Antarctic 50/1 e/w with b365 or PP.   Shouldn't trouble the best of them, but runs very well on the ground and it is the end of the season.

Thanks David.

I can't get on with either, but if Hhy ever gets his fat arse out of bed, I have "credit" on 365 with him, so maybe he can help.

Some of us are a slave to the wage on a Saturday ffs. I resent bed based allegations.

Ps, another goal for Bernardo Silva, and defeats for Swansea and Shrewbury. Count those pennies now Teeks.

(Edited with reasoning, as I unexpectedly had a minute spare to do it)

https://www.oddschecker.com/tv/strictly-come-dancing/next-elimination

Dr Ranj has no chance in the hardest ballroom discipline, foxtrot. No frame, poor footwork and has never had the sense of musical timing needed to master this. Also suffers from being small (less distance covered, less prominent lines). He did a quickstep two weeks ago, which got 4556. Quickstep is similar to foxtrot musically but (funnily enough) more quicks. Bit like using Kempton form to assess Cheltenham runners: have to make allowances for the differences in course but can still get plenty of info.

3/1 available with BFSB/Paddy

Graeme Swann has been a surprise this year but his tango training is a major concern. It's possible he has knee issues from his cricket days, but the tango hold and position does not suit him. He might need to be popular with the public.

7/1 with Betway/Hills/365.

Charles Venn has been in the dance off the last twice, which tells us he isn't popular with the public. However, his street dance (yes, there's an extra dance this year - contemporary, jazz or street) will be good and I expect him to get a few votes. Even if he doesn't, he stands a good chance on the training clips of beating Ranj or Swann in the dance off.

Silverton should be 14/1 go out this week, not 13/2.

Faye looks fantastic. Lauren Steadman might cause a shock at the top.

I've bet Ranj and Swann to go for a 7/4 combined.
