mental let down and bounce/revenge factor is huge in back to back games.   NBA play off prices show this historically.   One man band spuds (witthout their one man) can't perform miracles twice.  Like adz says 'no such thing as a bad priced winner'  The judges know.  Man City just win tomorrow.

Part of that is surely recency bias meaning winning teams get overbet, so the price is artificial?

did spuds stay over?  The travel factor would be another issue if they didn't.

No. Went straight back to London after the dressing room celebrations.

They virgin train it first class?  Football teams are going to miss virgins first class carriages now RB lost his licence.  London to the NW seems very popular first class for football teams last few years.

Anything but that! Kieffer made a comeback today too, despite being out for the season, and I've lost track of where the EW bets were placed. He'll do well to get in the top four though.

I don’t understand how Spurs have got longer for their match against City at the weekend...did anyone get injured the other night?

Sissoko got injured, he's been great for them this season.

Only three off the places tbf but it's a logjam behind Collins. Fancy Lyle Taylor and Marquis to fill second and third.

No real surprises amongst the nominations, and it's really VVD's and Sterling's to lose in the respective groups.

Earlier in the season I was banging the drum about Bernardo Silva when he was 100/1 (we already had him for YPOTY pre season). He's obv unlikely to scoop but he's very worthy of being in the running, and thinking ahead to next season I'll be putting him forward for POTY, price dependent of course.

I think he'll be the best midfielder in the world within 2/3 years, he's that good and his ceiling is that high.

I got Silva, and covered my stake with Raheem.

Hopefully he can do some justice and nick some place money in the t/s market.

When they say these are the 'nominess', are these the top half-dozen in the voting? I'm assuming all votes are in by now?

Bernardo was a great shout pre-season @ 16-1 but Raheem has been outstanding. If Silva can add goals next season, every chance he can win the main award. I added Raheem for YPOTY @ 9-2 when I flagged it up a few months ago.

Can only see Raheem winning both awards, or Raheem winning YPOTY and VVD winning the main prize. As the market suggests tbf.

Refresh my memory Smiley what odds was that, something like 33/1?

Think it was Archer who pulled it up pre season, he knows his shit. If we can keep out United on Wednesday we have a fairly gentle run in from there....

Chompy, yeah you'd assume the half dozen are the top 6 from the vote. I guess they don't vote again or anything now that the 6 have been decided. Why they can't do this at the end of the season is beyond me.
