How likely lock goes to broncos now?

Denver pick at 9 in the second round. Above them, the only realistic possibility is Oakland, but I think they've nailed their colours to the mast last night on keeping Derek Carr.

It looks like the Broncos sold everyone a dummy by talking up Lock for the last coupleof konths, but only the media bought it, as no teams moved above them to take Lock. That doesn't mean they don't like him, though, and they can have him for a much cheaper price now. He is starting week one or probably even year one.

It's still a live bet anyway.

very live unless someone trades above them. none of the teams before them in the market for a quarterback. Any trading up might prefer Will Grier anyway

would be a nice way to reverse into a winning bet ;-)

I meant to say Lock is NOT starting week one or even year one. They have Joe Flacco as a short term QB. Lock will need time behind him or someone else to learn the job.

And yes on the reversing into a winning bet. I don't mind how they come.

Was our Lonnie bet live until the 30th pick, Tal?

I wasn't quite sure, but saw a bit of talk on Twitter when I searched his name about possibly landing @ 30 when the Seahawks had 2 consecutive picks, and then they traded one away.

Yes. Was live until Deandre Baker went to the Giants at 30.

It is a bit late as practice has just started but I do fancy Carlos Sainz at a very big price for this week's Azerbajan Grand Prix.

The last couple of Grand Priix there have had a high attrition rate, and McLaren showed a bit of pace in Bahrain and Australia; and Carlos Sainz has run here well here before (as did the Renaults).

Obviously needs a lot of carnage in amongst the big boys, but he is 1500/1 and bookies are offering a fifth first 3 again.  You get 300/1 the podium, which is where the value is.  He clearly isn't finishing here every week, but 1 time in 300 is probably too big.  You could probably apply this logic to a few others outside the first 4 in the betting, as place terms are going to be very good on races that can have a lot of retirements like this.

You'll likely have to wait until the end of practice to get a price again, and 1500/1 may not be available, though it was available in a few spots this morning.   If the car runs like a bag of spanners in first practice then you need to reconsider!

The price is back up as practice is abandoned.   When I said attritional I didn't expect that.

You could extend the logic to Hulkenberg and Ricciardo who are both 750/1, or 150/1 first 3.

7th in 2nd practice so now into 1000/1.  Hills still 1500/1.   Go on Teeks, empty the account.

good work by Lando Norris too.

I appear to have 2 bets with WH, both @ 6/1, for Luton Town to win League One.

£25 EW @ 6/1

£25 Win @ 6/1

No idea where they came from.

That was more than I thought they'd let you have.   Vegas fund in one bet.  You can even join me in the plo8 championship.
