Weekend was ambitious tbf.

Poochies will be done by then too.

Game Of Thrones is supposed to be good though.

The rules are against large gatherings, so dog racing should be fine.  Maybe Peterbrough could have carried on playing too?

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Horse Racing stopped until end of April, Euros out back a year.

The dogs are still racing though, or were the last I heard. Maybe snooker can continue behind closed doors?

Nope, snooker is off too.

Smiley

That's the away end I think.

Just temporary stuff. Moving to an all-seater stadium within the next three years.

Won be green of course, will be blue. We should go back to playing in green though. That's how we got our nickname after all. Players came out in their marvellous green kit for their first ever game and someone sayed "Ooh, don't they look posh." People used to say that sort of thing back then. True story that.

Denise could buy them outright with her last two years salary.   Incredible but true.  Worth less than 1/2 billion now.

Australian GP officially cancelled.

How do yoi think that affects the season or your bets? If races get culled and its shorter does that mean bottas has a better chance?

How do you think the time off will impact the teams? Ferrari catch up without a race & end up 2nd as a result?  Same with the mid table, renault etc

In the event the calendar is shorter, which seems likely, then that would certainly benefit my Bottas & Renault bets - and it is something I considered when the bet was placed.

F1 are currently investigating an enforced three-week shutdown over the coming months to replace the summer break later in the season, which would limit the Ferrari deficit caused by their shutdown. That being said, they are now undoubtedly at a disadvantage. There's also an investigation to allow a race weekend to be dropped down to two days instead of three which would allow triple-headers to happen, increasing the possibility of a longer calendar.

Be interesting to find out how much they can do from home , I believe the centralised computing power is capped by the FIA to try and keep the playing field level so quite a bit of the CFD and the like is done on local workstations , not the sort of horsepower they’re likely to have at home. Plus it curtails all the 3D prototyping and the like.

If the other teams don’t follow it could be quite an advantage.

That's an interesting question. They are at a disadvantage, but to what extend depends on their company policy. It is possible for them to do all computer-based work at home, if Ferrari allow the remote use of company computers from private residences. They could use private PC's for design work (CAD, CFD etc.) but actually running CFD simulations requires huge computational power which won't be available at home; they would need a remote link-up to use the Maranello processors.

Multiple key workstreams will be impossible to be run from home though such as component testing, lab analysis, wind tunnel investigation, dyno/rig running etc.

Another 7.5% ironed out this morniiing.   Sub 400m now if you fancy following bald fred in and thinking Hill's are value like he loldid last week at twice the price.   Stick to the fobt's bald and loan sharking.   Leave the pricing up and skillful stuff to others.

Yes losing at a similar rate market cap wise.   They are not as exposed across their whole group shop wise as they have online only businesses in the gvc holdings group who own lolorals among others now plus they don't have the exposure hills do to the US total shut down market in vegas casinos.    Hills are sitting in the worst position strategically among all the firms.   No scale either.

Just £320m to buy hills now.  Won't be long before flushy/pads/dubai say 'rest' and its a done deal.  Maybe next week at this rate.

Incred that. Buy buy buy!

Not sure the ESC didn't miss a trick here. No audience, make a week of it. Get a massive online audience starved of anything competitive.
