Unable to find any good spots for today's Sakhir GP. The most tempting position is Max Verstappen to win the race, but I would want over 2/1 and the price just isn't available.
It's a unique track layout and it's the type of design that will either produce a superb race or a dreadful race. Based on what we've seen so far in the junior categories, it should be brilliant.

Note: one of my pre-season selections, George Russell over 0.5 points finishes, won today.
Not for the reason I originally anticipated, but it has come in.
I have been told it will be settled after the season ends (Ladbrokes).

Two bets for today's Abu Dhabi GP:
Race Winner - Lewis Hamilton
@ 6/4. Lewis has not been on form all weekend, and is the first to admit he's not feeling 100% after his bout of covid. However, it's hard to ignore a 6/4 price on the best driver in the fastest car. He'll start 3rd having qualified 0.086s down on Max Verstappen who took pole, and he lost all of his time in the third sector. In the first two sectors, Lewis was quickest of anyone which indicates to me that the pace is there - despite his illness. Suggest 10 points.

Top Six Finish - Esteban Ocon
@ 13/2. Esteban has been quicker than his team mate all weekend, perhaps spurred on by his podium at the SakhirGP. Meanwhile that Renault car has looked quick around this circuit, only struggling in qualifying due to lower than expected track temperatures. I do expect them to be in the mix and this should be priced more like 9/2. Suggest 5 points.

Two losses today, bit of an odd race in terms of pace.
- Hamilton finished 3rd with Verstappen dominating - nobody saw that coming. Mercedes must have been looking after the engine more than people expected - although still not sure why Lewis couldn't catch Valtteri. Need to think about that one.
- Ocon finished 9th. The pace was okay, the strategy was really poor, but McLaren were fundamentally too fast for Renault to break into the top six.

Couldn't it just be as simple as Lewis been exhausted? He said before the race he was tired and not feeling 100%. From others who have had Covid, it seems pretty easy to be tired all the time for a while. Of course some get over it quicker, but given he specifically mentioned it, it seems at least a possible reason? The season has probably finished at a good time for him.

Mate of mine about my age had it months ago, and still struggling.
Active guy as well. Postman, so loads of walking, and does lots of cycling in his spare time.

Possibly and he has complained after the race about the after-effects of covid, but his pace was fine throughout qualifying and wasn't at any point during the race, not even at the start. Something's not quite adding up, I need to look through the full set of data yet. Nevertheless, I was happy with the 6/4 price, it's difficult to justify not taking over EVS on him.

Some of you might find this article on the US election interesting.

Nonody posts much anymore
I don't think it is that great as there aren't many 16 runner handicaps, and the one at Kempton is bang on 16 which is a bit meh. I have backed Santini e/w in the King George. He gets a bad press and it is a quick track, but it feels like stamina should come into play as they should go at a decent pace from the start (and I hot 11/2 which beat betfair by a smidgen).
I like Bradford City today too. They got rid of McCall, who is a club legend but lost his way. There has been a step change in form with caretakers in, and their table position is false now. Think anything better than 2/1 is really good.

I don't mind losing if Frodon wins. That was brilliant.

Great to watch, and an even better ride from Miss Frost.

Well Bradford City won again.
I am not sure how long we get value for, but the bext game is home against Port Vale, where anything odds against looks good. They were 9/4 for today's match a couple of days ago, and did shorten, so the value is disappearing.
Here is an article about the youth team coaches who have taken over.

Obviously abort all bets when Sol Campbell or Jonathan Woodgate rock up to take charge.

i was on lost in translation ech way who went from travelling well to zero in strides. Bryony Frost regularly delivers good quality rides now. I was at Taunton ( i think) couple of years ago and watched Rachel Blackmore. She had 4 favs on the day and i opposed everything as she just seemed to get bullied constantly. However Brony is a different class and a good quality rider now and not just bigged up in the media.
