Given the tone of this thread, I would say that I was voting yes, even if I had no intention of doing so Cheesy

sigh, tone tone tone

again, far too aggressive

the "shy unionist" theory is pretty entrenched in discussions i see, as is the "shy tory" one in GE voting of previous elections

not unreasonable to suggest its active in this election.

But this isn't a general election.   There aren't many shy tory's in Scotland.  The ones who do vote tory stick out like a sore thumb.

read my post

"shy unionists"

read ironside's post, with his parents afraid to canvass for No

etc etc

p.s 410,000 scots voted conservative in the 2010 General election. 16% of the population means lots of sore thumbs sticking out....

Paul Waugh ‏@paulwaugh (Editor of PoliticsHome.com)

Quote of the Day. Salmond on issue of reneging on Scotland's debt: "What are they gonna to do? Invade?"

lol, what a weasel.

sigh, tone tone tone

Especially when the intention to take a share of debt is clearly stated. Surely the weasel are those making proclamations before any negotiations?

That's a comment I'd call stupid & inflamatory.

Personally long term I hope Scotland wins the vote and becomes independent because it will make it so much more unlikely that England will ever have to suffer a labour government again as I am a devout Tory.  However I have significant financial interest in this election based on what I consider to be a reasonably well balanced view point and what I hope happens financially in the short term isn't necessarily my views longer term. I think this is why politics betting provides potentially such rich rewards to the unbiased observer as the pie chart produced earlier on TFT shows how emotional most punters are on such matters.
