Smaller countries than Scotland survive.  Wonder who'd foot the bill to become independant.

Personlly, I don't really care.  My gut feeling is that there'll be a huge debate about it, it will cost tonnes of money which will all be wasted when they decide to leave things as they are.

The wording of the options implies you are only asking opinion of English people. (We'd be better off....)

I am a Scotsman living in England and I currently think independance would be a bad thing, but am open minded to the variuos arguments at this time.

I think the greatest problem is that many Scottish people who are very patriotic think independance is right for the wrong reason. You can still be patriotic and be part of the UK.

Yeah, should've worded that better admittedly.

But all options are open to all.

"they will" doesn't come accross as an opinion, in my opinion.

I've gone for "don't care" but I think it's a bad way of expressing my feelings towards it. I always find "don't care" as being a little harsh.

My actual thoughts are that I have no knowledge of whether or not the move would be good or bad for either the Scottish people or the rest of the UK whom they may depart from.

Because of my total lack of knowledge on the subject I think it's better for me to pretend it isn't really happening like everything else in the world and just getting on with my happy little life.

Don't care seemed to fit best so I was kind of stuck with that.

Just out of interest who gets to vote in this referendum?

Is it Scottish born, Scottish residents or people of Scottish descendancy or is there another criteria? Do the rest of the UK have a say in whether they want Scotland to stay or whether they'd prefer them kicked out?

Also do Scottish people's passports say Scottish or just UK the same as the rest of us?

How will they know who's allowed to vote?

Meh, I don't see the point of a random line drawn across our island anyway.

One island, one country.

Same with Ireland.

But "don't care" mostly sums up how I think about Scotland's independence,
