They clearly intended that the fence was to be jumped, just not on the inside where the jockey was (hence moving the boards from across the whole fence to just the inside). Seeing as all the horses then went round, they're pretending that was the intention - that head steward prick just interviewed was being so evasive on what the intention was. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened had one horse jumped and one went round. |
