With Welbeck wanting to leave Man U, frustrated by lack of games it appears
And also Hernandez on the bench
if you could get either for £15m say, would that help for next season?
I know you'd want Diego Costa etc etc, but realistically Hernandez up top served by your midfield would be very potent would it not?
I doubt that any manure discards would satisfy most gooners at this point. Except BigAdz of course. I did notice that Ian Wright suggested Hernandez on Twitter but what does he know? |

I'd be happy to lay evens. Come to think of it I'd probably happily lay evens most transfer rumours that appear in the British media as AW almost invariably signs players that we've never even considered. |

I have read and read that last statement about Podolski and it's hardly surprising a guy with 100caps for Germany only gets the odd game, when I can't understand what Wenger means....

I have read and read that last statement about Podolski and it's hardly surprising a guy with 100caps for Germany only gets the odd game, when I can't understand what Wenger means....
Podolski has looked inneffective every time he's been played as a central striker and he's had numerous chances to show what he can do in that role, certainly the role that this current Arsenal team needs from a central striker ie holding the ball up and playing with his back to goal. Coming in from the left flank as a more withdrawn striker appears to suit him much more as he scores plenty of goals from there when both fully fit and fully committed. If that's what Arsene means I understand him completely, but I usually do... Meanwhile CL footie appears to be secure for a 17th cosecutive season. |
