I think the decent thing to do would be to wait for the end of the window..of course a loss to Besiktas and then it's open season :-)

I am now slightly concerned about tomorrow evening's outcome.

As Bob Geldorf almost said, I don't like Thursdays.

This one looks like a proper banana skin job, Ralph.

Fingers crossed.

Love Wenger's stubbornness when it comes to the transfer market. Giroud a huge loss but he won't replace. Better hope Sanchez doesn't get injured

Real seat of the pants stuff last night.

What a remarkable thing, 17 (?) straight years in the CL, & I can't begin to calculate the monetary value to the Club.

In due course, that famous bust of Herbert Chapman will have to make way for the Arsene version.

There's a view, of course, that he has gone past his sell-by-date. Given how he has utterly transformed the Club, I think we can grant him enough time to fail.

It was always so, though George, & he's not done too bad so far.

Splashing out £30 milly is easy to say, but can make the difference between profit & loss. I'd rather money went into the new Stadium, which has, say, a 40 year shelf-life, than a spec gamble on a player who has a sharply depreciating value.

It's a fine line though.
