Seem to pick up a hell of a lot of injuries
Especially strange when its for players who have no history of picking up injuries

Not sure about that Are you saying Wiltshire/Ox/Ramsey/Walcott are injury free types?

There pretty hard to equate as they have either been with you all or most of their careers
The fact Wenger bought in a new fitness coach this summer suggests he wanted to change something

I think you have heard/picked up on a theory and tried to shoe horn the facts into it, but no big deal.

It is not an unusual occurrance for players who've been involved in a World Cup or Euro tourney in the summer, to incur serious injury the following season due to the pressure of rushing them back with less than ideal recuperation time.
I don't have the stats to hand but I can think of plenty off the top of my head.

Andy Stewart @redofpurple 21s21 seconds ago Ozil out for 10 weeks with serious knee injury. He had none in 3 years at Madrid, comes to us and has two in just over a season. Any ideas?

Lol I stand corrected! If Andy Stewart says so, then it must be right! Maybe he sent Big Bucks to the Gooners too, he only picked up his injury in the last few years too.........

You seem to get very defensive here Adz.
But the number of injuries Arsenal players pick up opposed to other clubs must be somewhat alarming.
Seems strange though as Wenger is considered a very good technical coach.
When I was a student I done research on Scottish clubs and their training methods/rehabilitation and it amazed me that when watching Rangers in training the first thing the players used to do when they got on the training pitch was get the balls out and start taking shots and playing long passes etc without even doing as much as a warm-up or stretch. They suffered many bad injuries at the time as well.
Compared to other clubs who's training techniques were developed on the back of looking at the Europeans Rangers at the time were light years behind.

I wouldn't say defensive. I was A, having some fun with horsey, B, disputing the fact that it isn't recent, Arsenal always seem to have the largest occupancy of the physio room in the Premiership. I suspect it is to do with the fact we love to buy/nurture a squad of people probably a foot shorter and 3 stone lighter than our opponents, and invariably in challenges with blokes twice their size they tend to come off worse more often. Nothing to do with them not doing their stretches!!!

These soft lad types are usually, imo, in sport the types who are a bit shy getting in the gym and conditioning their bodies to withstand the pounding they get during an EPL season. I don't think its any coincidence that arsenal have this injury plague year after year. Walcott is another who doesn't seem the type to do the extra miles off the pitch to stay ahead of injuries. So many injuries are caused by bad prep/conditioning.

Guardian sport @guardian_sport 45s45 seconds ago Koscielny diagnosed with achilles injury and sent home by France. By @DaveHytner http://gu.com/p/42ak6/tw Koscielny's been carrying this injury all season so it's nothing new. That's why he's not really been able to impose himself on games as he usually does.
