The exact definition isn't really important.
What I'm trying to say is the man following Wenger will be in an amazing position. And this will all be created by Wenger himself. He has got the club in a very strong position. But they are not winning trophies.
I guess the man who follows Arsene will be in a similar position to the one Guardiola was in when he replaced Heynckes at Bayern.
He inherited a great team with loads of money in the bank to spend as he pleases.
The only difference is that Guardiola took over a Champions League winning team. And the fans were spoiled by success.
Arsenal fans cannot be accused of that!
Compare this to the position Moyes was in when appointed to succeed Fergie. Virtually impossible.
An aging team and owners not keen (or perhaps able) to put their hands in the pockets deep enough to buy adequate replacements.
Just a couple of years ago Fergie had Giggs, Scholes, Ferdinand, Vidic and Evra.
Moyes had to try and replecate Fergies success with Young, Feliani, Smalling, Evans and Cleverley.
Not fair!

Comparing this team to the treble team of Munich is mental.
01 Neuer
04 Dante Booked
17 Boateng
21 Lahm
27 Alaba
07 Ribery Booked (Dias - 90' )
08 Martinez
25 Mueller
31 Schweinsteiger
09 Mandzukic (Gomez - 90' )
10 Robben
Or
01 Szczesny
02 Debuchy (Akpom - 84' )
04 Mertesacker
06 Koscielny
03 Gibbs
21 Chambers (Walcott - 60' )
34 Coquelin Booked
15 Oxlade-Chamberlain
19 Cazorla
07 Rosicky
17 Sánchez
Also saying Moyes had no money to spend is ridiculous as well. He spent 60 million and tried to spend at least double that just Ed Woodward is fucking terrible at his job. That being said Fergie was doing something weird at the end of his reign that I doubt anyone could repeat.

I wasn't comparing the teams. I was comparing the situation.
Almost all of the time when a new manager joins a club it is because his predecessor has got the club into a shitty situation.
Wenger has got Arsenal in a very strong position off the field and a pretty strong position on it.
A new manager will be in a extremely enviable position.

Read in The Times(yeah, surprising, huh?!), that we wont be looking to make any signings this window, as our injury problems are now almost behind us.
Beyond belief.
Can they not happen again then Arsene The Soothsayer?
And is our defence about to suddenly improve for no apparent reason?
And loaning out Podolski, well, just can't stop shaking my head.
Oh dear.

All this furore about Szcz smoking in the shower after the So'ton game.
Surely the big question is what he was smoking before that game.

Pretty clear Podoloski wanted out.
An experienced international who is getting very little game time and isn't happy could well turn into a major distraction in the dressing room.
Correct move to ship him out IMO.
Arsenal are hardly short of options in his sort of position are they?

I have always found the shower a difficult place to smoke tbh. Most impressive he kept it alight.

Take on board the fact he wants to leave/could cause issues etc, but its how we got there that worries me.
I find the fact that we were actually able to buy a player of his quality and then give him such a paltry amount of play time over a period of years now, when we push players like Sanogo, the real sad thing.
Think he got two goals in his last full game.
Waste.

Podolskis club career is littered with flattering to deceive
Gives the impression to me the majority of the time he could not care less (did same for Bayern for years and various loan spells) before playing well in short bursts usually when contract talks were coming...
Strange really considering he is Polish how much he cared for the national team

Why Arsenal are so easy to beat (and it's not about their defence)

The final piece of the jigsaw fell into place tonight, as to why we are doing so bad.
It turns out that Giles Grimandi(possibly the worst player to ever pull on an Arsenal shirt more than 100 times) is our defensive scout.

Where football is concerned Adz is a miserable git, 'nuff said.

So the fact that he wasn't a world-class player means he can't be a good scout? LOL
